"I have not even had an appointment here yet. HOWEVER I called in October and made an appointment, soonest available was February 23rd. They took my info said I needed my referral sent to them. Said no problem, id contact my eye dr and have it sent despite my insurance not requiring referrals for specialists... the office apparently requires it. No big deal. I call to see if there were any earlier available and get told I'm not even in the system! What did yall do with my information and appointment?! Now I won't be able to get in til April IF I decided to even go here.... but After this and reading the reviews, I'll go somewhere else. ✌️"

"I have called 2 times this morning and the person that keeps answering doesn’t even give me a chance to say a single word. She picks up and all I can make out because of how fast she is talking is she says “placing you on hold” and then I’m placed on hold. She sounds very rude made me feel like I am an inconvenience. I should atleast have a chance to say okay before placing me on hold. After finally calling back and speaking with someone I realized I had the wrong eye institute. If this is how she talks and answers the phone to your regular patients she should probably learn phone etiquette before answering your phones just saying the business name slow enough to understand would have illuminated my calling back and even giving the caller an opportunity to respond before placing them on hold would be proper. I understand your office is a doctor office but if I was in the waiting room and heard someone answer the phone like that I would question the care that is provided."

"Sitting in the waiting room for an hour, no other patients, still haven’t been seen and they’re front desk lady in optical shop keeps coughing and lowering her mask. Very uncomfortable."

"I decided to give this company another chance after having walked out a few years ago because they had scheduled everyone in the State for the same day and a line of people waiting out into the hall with patients standing along the wall in the waiting room! I recently got lucky and had made an appointment on a day or time that didn't cause much waiting. However, they missed steps and told me I needed to schedule another appointment. My newly scheduled appointment to make up for what they forgot to do at the last, I was told there was a "short wait". Only an hour. I had gotten up early and drove the trip to be there and decided to wait. A full waiting room and multiple patients ahead of me, an hour and forty minutes of sitting and wondering why I had to wait when I was there because they made mistakes at my last appointment, while I read the terrible Google reviews in regard to years of scheduling issues... I finally went to tell the front desk I would have to just cancel. She just looked at me and said "Ok." and answered the phone while ignoring me standing there. I walked out. I can only assume that this company is in it for the money and not quality care."

"Great nursing staff & reception, pretty fast paced to get you in but they put in the dilation drops & left me in a room for 2 HOURS. The doctor I got wasn't very friendly either (I got Dr. Hausheer) for the 5 minutes I actually GOT to see her. She seemed VERY short tempered and wanted out as quickly as possible, but I could've just caught her on a busy/bad day, so I can't fault her for that as I don't know how her usual demeanor is. I got an eye exam there about 5-7 months ago. The reason I had to subtract a star is simple: With my insurance, I was told the exam would cost a flat $30. Simple enough - I saved it, & I brought cash in with me. When everything was said and done, I went to pay my bill with the receptionist. I began to hand her the $30. She waved it away & told me, "No. You're good." I was skeptical since they told me it'd be $30 in advance & she reassured me I was fine. An ENTIRE month after the appointment, I started receiving calls from their office telling me I had to pay a bill with them - they wanted the $30 after all! & I have been getting 1 call a week from them demanding their money -that they refused- EVER SINCE!"
