"Love that my girls get to see Dr. Schrader! I had horrible experiences at my last pediatric office so after doing some research and asking for recs I found Stuart Schrader. He is very thorough and answers all of my questions. He has a great bedside manner, we have actual conversations which is so refreshing vs being ‘talked at’ for an entire visit. Every visit has been a positive experience—even for my kids. My oldest left her first appointment telling me she wanted to go to the doctor again. Haha The staff at Pathways is great as well. I love being apart of this practice and look forward to my girls growing with Dr. Schrader and his staff."

"I had a pediatrician (not schrader) written down on my intake paperwork, but he came in everyday to unswaddle my baby without us asking him to. No explanation was given to us about why he was there when we already had one. Not sure if hospital required in hospital appts for babies or not and was not explained to us if they do. Our pediatrician didn’t do in hospital appts. If the hospital requires, parents need to be explained this. Outside of that, I was billed for his services of coming in. It was never submitted to insurance, even though they had my primary insurance on file. A couple months later, I reach out to them because I don’t have an EOB and insurance says it wasn’t filed and SSM says they didn’t have my secondary listed, which I at that point gave them the secondary insurance information so it can be billed to both companies. However, instead of billing the insurance companies, three days later they sent to their in-house collection agency (Arstrat). Their in-house collection agency said that it was sent to them sooner than it should have been because they’re supposed to give it 30 days after getting the insurance information prior to sending it to them that way they have time for insurance to bill. Arstrat said they aren’t able to bill any insurance company that is not a government agency so at this point it cannot be billed through them and SSM Health was to withdraw it. Blue Cross and Blue Shield said they had 180 days from the beginning of the year to submit to insurance which at this point is past and they would have to prove that they tried to bill it, which they haven’t. And my secondary insurance web TPA said that they will accept the claim if they submit it within one year of the date of service. They have yet to do that because SSM Health says they can’t bill it because Arstrat has it now. Arstrat says they have to have it withdrawn by SSM Health so SSM can bill it properly. Yet SSM health has taken months to try to remove it from the collection agency in order to bill it properly and are still working on it. Apparently the only thing they can do is note the account. This entire fiasco makes me want to stay away from any and all providers that are with SSM health because their billing dept is worthless. (I am willing to remove this review if someone can get SSM Health to do their job and bill it properly to insurance prior to expiration date. They have less than 2 weeks and I will not be responsible for a full bill when billing has been so negligent.)"

"Dr. Shrader is an amazing doctor! I have seen him for almost 3 years since moving into the area. He has tremendously helped me with my anxiety and other health issues. He really gives you his time and listens and is really compassionate."

"Dr. Shrader is an excellent physician! I have never sat in the room with any doctor for this long- he let me express all of my concerns and quickly came up with a game plan. Not only did he ask my concerns but also asked my goals so that he could be sure to address my problem from every aspect and help me manage my lifestyle and at-home care. The nursing staff and phlebotomist were all fantastic."

"Dr schrader and his assistants and PAs are all super wonderful! They listen, they care and are always informative and respect your choices. I am grateful for their care for my entire family! The front desk girls are not a reflection of any of the practitioners. It’s unfortunate that they lack customer service skills and friendliness/helpfulness. But I don’t go to doctors for their receptionist, so I can look past that for the excellent care I receive."
