"I first came to Dr. Woods 2 years ago as a healthy person with a host of new symptoms that were affecting my daily life and creating compounding anxiety; another physician ordered a basic blood work test, told me everything was fine on the test then tried to send me on without recourse... knowing my own body, I further inquired about finding a solution to symptoms that were beginning to upheave my life and in response to my voiced concern, he wrote a script with little advice nor explanation. Before hopping on the prescription train, I decided to get another opinion from a doctor that also places importance on patient education (As a healthcare provider, this is important to me!) --thankfully, Dr Woods was then recommended to me by family and friends. I wasn't seeking meds, wasn't on meds BUT I also wasn't opposed to taking meds *if needed*; I came to Dr. Woods with all of the above info, for which, she devised a treatment that included educating me on the medication she recommended for the time being in addition to other forms of recourse. Today I am a healthier version of myself than I was two years ago. Thank you Dr. Woods :)"

"I saw Dr. Woods once, she ordered some diagnostic tests for me and then ghosted me completely. I called multiple times, was sent to voicemail each time, never got a call back or anything. Its frustrating because I'm dealing with the potential of Thyroid cancer, they found a mass in my sinus, and my lymph nodes looked suspicious. I needed my doctor to get back to me and talk me through what the tests had shown. She also changed my depression meds on day 1 of seeing me, which I found to be a bit odd since she's not the prescribing doctor or had much knowledge about me at the time other than my background info I had shared. Then ghosting me after this, what if I would have had an issue? Not ok. I had called Dr. Wiley (who was in the same building at the time), to figure out why my calls were being ignored. They sounded super bitter and told me they had moved out which was a surprise as I had just been in the office a week or two prior and didn't see any signs of them moving their practice. I finally had to go find a new PCP who would be responsive, get back with me on my test results, and who would listen before changing my meds. The lack of communication was so bad, my husband went up to the office to see if anyone was there or if they had closed up shop. Its irresponsible when you have patients depending on you and its unprofessional. Perhaps there was a reason, but it was never communicated to me."

I love that Dr Woods is being back the Family doctor experience. These days you hardly ever get to see an actual doctor but we got to spend one on one time with Dr Woods and she addressed all our concerns.
