"Everyone was nice and friendly and my dog received good care, however, the Veterinarian only stood in the doorway to talk to us, he wouldn't come all the way in the room, which we found somewhat off-putting."

"AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I took my 4 year old cat there with breathing problems which they diagnosed with asthma after doing minimal examination. 2 weeks later her symptoms were back and she was prescribed medication without the vet speaking to me or seeing my cat. Within a week her symptoms became severe, I took her to the emergency vet where they took an xray and determined immediately that it was NOT asthma and she ended up being in such bad shape that she died when they attempted to insert an IV. When I called to cancel her follow up appointment the receptionist said "I'm sorry. I'll add it to her chart" and immediately hung up."

"Dr. Biles is the best! He is the most caring and compassionate vet in Norman. My dog was having the worst GI problems and just after one visit and some blood work he figured out the issue and recommended a diet change and gave me the necessary medications to help get her feeling better. I would highly recommend him!"

"DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!! We took our 12 year lab in 2 weeks ago because she had stopped eating and was losing a lot of weight. The first visit they did lab work and sent us home with antibiotics due to high white cell count. I took her back 3 days later as she was still not eating or improving at all. They then recommended an X-Ray to look at her liver which showed nothing, and that was almost $500, and added a new medication at that point, and told us to bring her back for an ultrasound if she wasn't better by the end of the week. We took her back for the ultrasound, and was told she had gallbladder sludge and stones, and put her on Ursidol. I then called 3 days later and reported that she had blood in her urine and they recommended a new antibiotic, without seeing her, but never called back that day for me to pick it up. After almost 2 weeks of my dog continuing to worsen, I took her to a different vet and was told within 30 mins that she had a mass on her gallbladder, and was possibly cancer. We have been referred to a specialist for further investigation, and screenings. The 2nd vet was absolutely amazing and made sure we knew what was going on, and out options before we left. They also put her on completely new medication, and less than 2 hrs later we are seeing improvements. WESTWOOD is a JOKE when it comes to the care of your pets, and they will charge you for unnecessary and useless treatments!!! PS... I NEVER leave reviews but this was a horrible and expensive experience."
