From the moment my sister and I entered into this beauitful facility and were greeted by the kind staff at the front desk, we knew God had led us to the perfect home for our father. Through every step of our father's journey from his last months on this earth to his first step into heaven, the wonderful caregivers at SML treated him with great patience, care, and dignity. As a man struggling with the last stages of dementia, they were always understanding and supportive of not only him, but of my sister and me as we navigated this difficult journey. We will forever be grateful for each of the office workers, nurses, and staff who so lovingly cared for our dad."

"The minute we walked into the entry way, we knew that this was going to be the best place for our dad, who had Alzheimer's and was rapidly deteriorating. The entire staff was always kind, professional, and willing to help in any way possible. We found everyone at SML to be genuinely interested in providing the best care possible. Decisions made regarding his care were always discussed with us in ways that we were able to understand. Staff worked closely with Hospice when that became a part of dad's care. This facility proved to be above and beyond anything we even hoped for. We wanted the best for dad, and that's what we all got. Forever thankful to Wendy, Lupe, Holly, Susan, and the list goes on....for their acts of kindness and compassion as dad transitioned from this life to the next. "I spent two and a half weeks at this rehab facility in 11/2023 and 12/2023. Every person I had contact with treated me with dignity and respect and worked hard to get me back into my home. Thank you so much!!"

"I referred my friend to Sheridan. She has been there a few days a d they let her oxygen run out until her vision was impaired. They told her you can train yourself from being inconvenient. Very rude nurses. You can't find them half the time. I don't recommend. Very poor place. Manager wouldn't call back."

"I was in this facility for a week. I was mistreated in the facilities transport vehicle. After I arrived at there I was manhandled into a bed and since I had a hip replacement a few days before, it was very painful. It was two days before they gave me any pain medication. I only saw the doctor one time. The aids are not trained to care for surgery patients. Most of them are willing to learn and they are kind. The management, Wendy, was very rude and tried to intimidate me. I soiled myself numerous times waiting for someone to answer the light. Then some of the aids would be upset that I couldn't wait. Staff was unfriendly to my husband several times. I finally got arrangements for treatment and therapy at home and left that place behind. The bean counters definitely run that place, do not take your loved ones there."
