"Loved the location, interior, and the vibes! Such a cool place for a date or to get together with the girls. The menu is full of classic southern dishes. I very much enjoyed the jambalaya! The pork queso dip was also a really good appetizer. Great server as well; we didn’t get his name but he’s a Hispanic or Native gentleman. Restaurant was clean and spacious"

"The smash burger was one of the best I have had in a long time! The fried onions on the burger were delicious as added the perfect touch! I was a big fan of the homemade chips as well. We got hush puppies and deviled eggs to share that were a hit with everyone! The portions were very generous and the service was fast. I will definitely be back soon!"

"We had an excellent experience and enjoyed some amazing food at Islas's kitchen. We had an eye on this place for a while, waiting for it to open, and it did not disappoint. The seafood dip is a really great way to start paired with the Cabin boys brewed MeeMaws farmhouse ale that Isla's features on tap. I really enjoyed the catfish dinner, which was above standard for what you can get around town for sure. The atmosphere is open and also has a refreshing feel to it, and they have a nice bar setup. Great spot that's easy and safe to walk to if you're staying downtown. The little market selling local food and crafts is a really nice touch as well, so be sure to take a look during your visit!"

"I recently had the pleasure of being treated to brunch at Isla’s Kitchen for my birthday and I was not disappointed! Immediately walking in you feel welcomed and comfortable in the bright and easy going atmosphere. We started off with their signature pickle vodka Bloody Mary garnished with pickled green beans and bacon, delicious! The green beans were so fresh! I couldn’t resist getting the chicken and waffle dish, and I’m so glad I did because the chicken was flavorful and succulent and really well complimented by the sweet tea syrup. I also got the biscuits and gravy and wow! That is easily a sharing portion, but who would want to? The biscuits had a crunchy top but were so buttery soft on the inside! The attention to detail was probably my favorite, down to the cute napkins and coasters. Everything was truly wonderful and a 10/10 recommended experience. Our server Jayden also took excellent care of us! We can’t wait to go back!"

"My husband and I have been twice now and have really enjoyed our experience. The entire staff is very friendly and attentive. The drink menu is unique and very yummy (we had the Driving Miss Daisy and Thursday in the Danger Room). We enjoyed the Pulled Pork Queso and LOVED the interesting twist with the pork rinds, very tasty! I appreciated the pickle brine on the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich (my preferred way of brining chicken and it was delicious!) Additionally, Conner's Corner has some of the cutest gifts and treats! Definitely a must while you're there!"
