Roka

"I tried the first time today. I had pot stickers and the Roka burger. The potstickers were the best I have had. The sauces, both the ginger mushroom soy( cold) and the soy cream sauce( hot, not spicy) were amazing. My burger was slightly over cooked, but not enough to fuss about. The mushrooms and other veggies seemed very fresh. I got the Kung pao sauce on the side and it was very good as well. The sesame fries with Sriracha ketchup were great too. The atmosphere was nice and my server was pleasant. My only concern would be how long it took to get my food. It was around 2:30 in the afternoon, with very few customers, and took more than 20 minutes to get my food. I don't know how that will translate to a busy evening shift, but I will find out as I am definitely going back. The potstickers were delectable! I should mention this was a Tuesday so my burger and fries were only $7. I look forward to trying their other menu options"

"I've been eating here since it was "Tiki's"! They have a fantastic happy hour special that is DAILY from 3-6, a variety of sushi options, and delicious apps and entrees."

"First trip to Roka. Loved the location, ambiance and service. We had the calamari to start and it was absolutely wonderful: fresh and flavorful. I always worry ordering calamari but this version was fantastic. For entrees, we had the Kung Pao Chicken and the Almond Sesame Chicken. Both were well above average for those dishes. Not typically a fan of this sort of fare but the flavors were complex and complementary. We augmented our meal with the Tuna Tataki which underwhelmed. The cucumber and sauce overpowered the tuna into soft oblivion. I eventually took a piece of tuna away from its vehicle and...still not much going on, honestly; I got flavor from the horseradish but still nothing from the fish. We finished with bread pudding. It was...interesting. I fully admit I'm a bread pudding snob, but I won't be ordering it again. It's almost as if Roka thought it could improve on the original by replacing bread with angel food cake? I'm sure there are folks who like it but a large part of why I like bread pudding so much is the texture of the bread when it's saturated in sauce and this dish didn't get remotely close to that. Solid dessert, not bread pudding."

"Listen, this is the ONLY restaurant we will go to for our sushi. Moving from Houston, we were having a really hard time finding a place that could match our food experience we had in Texas. The food here is PHENOMENAL. The staff is kind, prompt, attentive and knowledgeable about the cuisine. The atmosphere is sophisticated and sultry, but the attire of most of the patrons was very casual. This was our first time at Roka so we will be back to work our way through the menu."

"Yummy, unique food! Really cool vibe - they put a lot of hard work into their decorations and atmosphere. Would recommend! The chicken in the chicken fried rice was super tender and the miso soup with white fish had a crazy cool flavor! We also got the Roka sushi roll and the almond sesame chicken and were pleased with all of it!"
