"This has been my chinese place of choice for 16 years. However with new ownership some recipes have changed(not all) the ones that have changed like the sesame chicken in particular now tastes like a cheap food court. Chicken Lo Mein also tasted heavily underseasoned as compared to before. The Sweet and Sour pork conversely tasted exactly like it did. So well done there. Service is still great and the restaurant itself is still great. Just got to work out a couple kinks in the recipes."
"Let me start by saying this- I am an extremely picky pregnant person lol. I've been having a hard time finding anything lately that sounds remotely close to edible- but I decided to give this restaurant a try after reading the reviews on Google maps. I got the sweet and sour chicken entree with fried rice, and 4 chicken egg rolls for $17. This was the perfect amount to share with my fiance, and then save some for leftovers. The portions were HUGE. You're definitely gonna get your money's worth here. I received an entire container of chicken, a massive tub of sweet and sour (more than I could possibly use lol!) and the rice was PACKED into a lil takeout box. The only thing I will say is that the egg rolls were a tiny bit smaller than you would usually see, but what they lacked in size, they made up for in flavor. Everything was served HOT, and tasted great! I have to say, I've never had an egg roll that tasted this way, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It had more flavor than your typical egg roll, and I'm glad I ordered as many as I did. Finally, the service was phenomenal. I was greeted by a very nice lady, and the staff was very attentive while taking our order. We were outside near the taco place next door, and the lady who greeted us even took our order out for us, going the extra mile. The food was packed very nicely into bags, nothing was leaking or spilled over. In all, I would recommend this place to everyone, and I've definitely found my new favorite go-to."
"Best shrimp chow mein around!!! Soooo good! The place was clean, quiet, inviting, and affordable. This was my first trip and they just became my favorite! I went out for Los tacos but they were closed. So I went next door and I see now that everything happens as it should! Thanks Golden China!!!"
