Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

"We love Cracker Barrel, but unfortunately, I always forget about it forever until we eat it again. Their breakfast is some of my favorite! And I believe it is served all day! This dish was the hashbrown casserole with steak tips. Hashbrown base, scrambled eggs, fried onions, tomatoes, & green onions."

"We travelled from the UK to visit friends last year. They took us here before we hit the road on R66. It was fab, staff were lovely, and the food was great. We loved it that much that on our last day before our flight home, we asked to come back."

"the ambiance here is somewhat unique i would think it needs to look more rustic by adding more older weathered wood in the decor but i suppose that material would have a premium on the pricing and thus add to the overhead. the seating in the restaurant lacks booths in fact i did not see any booths. the food looked very appealing on the online menu and was somewhat disappointing in person. the portions are smaller than what you expect based on what is shown on the online menu. the chicken was dry and smaller than expected and so was the sausage equally small in size and very dry. the cheesecake pancakes were too sweet in my opinion and felt like they were more akin to fair food than breakfast. the coffee was mild and lacked robust coffee flavor. the service was lacking. none of the staff felt friendly. i was asked if i want my receipt by the cashier while paying and she seemed to have a slight resentment for having me as a guest. we werent given napkins till we asked. and we werent given water till the food was delivered to the table. i was a server for a bit so i actually know when service is decent or bad or outright intentionally rude. this place had some moments where it was clear to me the server was not present mentally such as bringing only one cup to the table when there are two persons and missing napkins during table set up. the host hit my chair with the chair behind me for unknown reasons. these are all things i would not do while being a server so in my opinion this place was oddly all over the place in terms of service. the food wasnt very good it was average or below average. the service was bad just barely not rude. the atmostphere was interesting my girlfriend said the place is cute as soon as she walked in and another woman right after us came in commenting exactly the same way about the place. there is a store as soon as you walk in and the restaurant is after the store."

"Really tasty food. The macaroni and cheese is my favorite. The country fried chicken tasted good even without the gravy. Legit soul food. Also a neat little store with adorable decorations for the holiday."

"I love the store inside the restaurant! The Cinnamon crunch latte was really good, I do recommend trying it! I always love getting the chicken and dumplings. I never get anything else, but I didn’t like how this time they put my side of hashbrown casserole in the bowl with the dumplings. They’ve never done that before. I don’t like them together, maybe that’s just a me thing but I don’t want parts of casserole in my bowl. I scooped it off best I could and put it on a napkin. The fried pickles were good, but closer to the end there’s too much grease in the basket to enjoy the rest of the pickles."
