"The food was good but not great. The potato soup was broken. Everything else was good. I heard this was a great place, maybe I came on a bad day. I will try here again in the future. The waitress, we didn't see her very often. Our glasses ran empty several times. When we asked her for something, it would take her a while to come back. She was very friendly when she was there. I have no complaints about rudeness or anything. I believe since maybe we were stuck away from everyone else, maybe she forgot about us."

"Good food and friendly service. The fried pickles were delicious, as was the bacon-wrapped filet and lemon Italian cream cake. The sides were OK; they use red potatoes for their mashed potatoes, which gave them a flavor I wasn’t quite expecting and the hush puppies weren’t anything special."

"The only saving grace were the fried pickles. Without that the meal would have been a complete disaster. Wait staff was very uninterested in working or serving. Fries okra was cold and soggy. "Homemade" Mac and cheese was watery and the pasta wasn't cooked long enough . While the steak was tender it has an overwhelming taste of gas at times so poor execution on the cook. All in all this was a wasted dinner. I won't return."

"Great spot to eat at if you're traveling on Route 66. This place is full of nostalgia, and great atmosphere. The service was good, the food was AMAZING. Loved it. Even though I was just passing through, I hope to eat here again. Couldn't be happier."

"We were driving through and wanted something good to eat; we had originally stopped at a bbq place but they told us in no uncertain terms that the didn’t have anything I could eat ( I am gluten intolerant and if I get the slightest bit of gluten, I’m sick for days ) and that they could not guarantee that there would be no cross contamination because they don’t clean in between serving. We left that restaurant and found Lucille’s road house. We told the girl that I was gluten intolerant, they made sure that there was no cross contamination and that all of my food was gluten free. Not only was the service and our server amazing; but the food was the best. If you’re passing by you definitely want to stop in at Lucille’s; you won’t regret it."
