"My family has had the worst experience ever with Lumico, our mother has been deceased for a year now and this company is still dragging . I literally call every month and each month new information is needed every time! Let me say again my mom has BEEN DECEASED for over a year. Thankful our family had the means to pay for her funeral because if not, it would be sad to say she probably would still be in a dam freezer. I’m sure if she knew how this company was, she would have never signed up!!!!!"

"My x husband got a whole life, life insurance policy for$10,000 from lumico life insurance over the phone. I was sitting on the couch next to him. The whole thing was recorded. My ex passed away and I was the beneficiary. I did not get the $10,000 because they said he lied on his application. I know he didn't lie and so dóes the recording. They refuse to let me have or hear the recording. They even refused to let my lawyer hear the recording they said it's their personal property. So that means that insurance companies can pick and choose who they want to pay. That should be against the law why isn't it so I got beat out of $10,000 to pay for my husband's funeral my ex-husband. We got back together but we didn't remarry Don't use LUMICO please,"

"All this company do is lie.. I've been with y'all for about 3 years, and y'all never mailed me my policy.. My policy lapse, and I didn't get no mail about it.. I will be taking my business somewhere else.. I'm definitely going to give y'all a review on the Better Business Bureau... I feel like y'all should have reached out to me by phone, or sending me a letter in the mail saying my policy is about to lapse... What a waste of money............."

"After spending almost 2 hours on hold just to ask if there was an active policy for my father, i was told that there is no way to find out that information and the claims department will be in touch. The 2nd person i talked to just repeated what the 1st one said and told me that there is a process that we have to go through and thats just the way it is… listen, i get that, I understand procedures. However, lets save us both a lot of time and energy, if there is an active policy, great lets get the process going. If not, well thank you, have a nice day and good bye! Nope, not with this company. So now i sit and wait 24hrs, or 48hrs, or 7-10 days, whichever they chose to let me know whats going on! There is a reason the rates for these policies are so low, its because the total service is garbage! I can only imagine the difficulty im going to endure if there is an active policy!"

"Had a policy with them-but in trying to cancel it-it has been a real headache! Never can talk to a real person and they claim I didn’t cancel in Nov 2023- won’t make it effective til Jan8th 2024 can’t get anyone to straighten it out! I would look for a new life insurance company if I were you!!"
