"They have blatantly lied about being a smoke free campus. I have had several neighbors smoking cigarettes and weed inside the building, and nothing ever gets done about it. Exorbitantly priced for a mediocre apartment. Look elsewhere."

"if I could rate this place zero stars I would . First, the management is extremely negligent about the property. If you want a clean place to live forget this apartment complex. Every foot where you walk there is poop lying around everywhere. You may think the building is great because it has an elevator, but the elevator is extremely slow and at times has broken, making it an extreme inconvenience to those who do not live on the first floor, additionally, a maintenance request is poorly dealt with. Not only do messages not get forwarded to maintenance, but maintenance often comes several months later when the problem has exacerbated beyond repair. Please do not get fooled by the pretty design of the building, because this place aims to make the most money by doing the least for its residents. One afternoon I placed a maintenance request and watched several château development maintenance trucks pass by our building, hoping they would come to fix our thermostat as management had promised, it would get done that day not only did the thermostat not get fixed, but there was no follow up from management in the following days. Please do not waste your money or time on this apartment building. And I’m sure you’ll notice they only reply to the positive reviews. Interesting huh? Seems much easier to reply those than actually assuming responsibility and accountability ."

"Awesome place to live. Management and maintenance work around the clock to make sure you feel happy, safe and comfortable. They also have multiple properties and units to pick from so there is almost no way to be disappointed. I've also met people who have lived in some of their apartments for 30+ years who have had every complaint fixed and multiple outdated equipment replaced. If I could rate this place 10 stars I definitely would"

"We rented from Chateau from July 2019 to April 2021. A few issues: 1. They showed us a unit with a walk-in closet (the Catalina floor plan), sent us emails verifying the floor plan, but only after we moved halfway across the country did we discover that our unit had changed. No walk-in closet, same price, zero willingness to rectify the problem. 2. The unit we moved into had cockroaches, which were actively being treated by a pest company. Chateau failed to disclose the issue at move-in, and now states that "they didn't want to add to a stressful situation." Roaches are bad enough, but when you don't tell your incoming tenants about an issue, it demonstrates that you don't care."
