"There is a reason for these low ratings and I’m glad I found out before I move into the complex. I am an out of town person looking to rent in Omaha I studied the website and loved the idea of an apartment on the lake! However, when I called with a few questions I was never able to speak with the local manager. Every time I called or left a message it went to the central office of the parent management company who were not able to answer my seeking simply questions, where is the garage for the two units I was interested in, is there a fireplace in one of the units, do they both face the lake? Questions the central office was not able to answer. I sent emails asking for a phone call I asked the central office to have the local manager call me which they were not at all assure what happened because they too didn’t call they only could send emails to the local management company. Crazy, absolutely crazy after several days of trying. I simply gave up understanding that this was not a place that I wanted to live. These were not people that I wanted to try to communicate with any longer."

"I appreciate that many residents have had positive experiences with the maintenance staff, but unfortunately, my experience has been different. Recently, for the second time, we were left without hot water in our apartment. Given the cold weather and the previous experience of having to drive to a nearby gym for a hot shower, we promptly contacted maintenance. After several phone calls and over a day's wait, we finally received a response. The communication was not only delayed but also confusing. Initially, we were told to expect a delay of 3-4 hours for the hot water to be restored. However, upon seeking clarification, the same staff member abruptly corrected it to "TEN HOURS!"—and this was communicated rather aggressively. Due to the lack of hot water, I had to resort to taking a cold shower, which unfortunately resulted in me getting sick. When I called back to inquire about the staff member's name, instead of providing a straightforward answer, he sarcastically thanked me for keeping him busy answering the phone rather than fixing the issue. This response was not only dismissive but also quite unprofessional. Our main concern isn't just the health and inconvenience implications but also the security and comfort within our living space. Especially as my wife, who is currently pregnant, stays at home, it's unsettling to think of the same maintenance team having access to our apartment. Given these experiences, I'd advise potential renters to think twice before choosing this complex. The lack of timely and professional communication, combined with concerns for safety, comfort, and health, has significantly affected our experience here. I hope management can address these concerns promptly for the safety and comfort of all residents."

"If I could rate no stars I would. I was very interested in renting here. However, after my tour today will not even be a consideration. I felt as if we were a bother from our arrival. I had a scheduled tour & when I arrived was told the person giving the tour was at lunch. After waiting for awhile past my appointment, Liz arrives from lunch and all I can say is RUDE. While on the tour a tenant approached Liz with a concern about a maintenance request she has made three times. Liz rudely dismissed the tenant. Management needs to have some serious customer service training with their employees."

"The apartments are larger and better appointed than others in the same price range. I know because I checked out online over 50 apartments in Omaha and LaVista. The grounds are lovely, maintenance has always responded in a timely manner to my requests. You must see these apartments!"
