"Living Next to the Concrete Plant at 1010 On The Lake I moved from 1010 On The Lake and now live in a much better place. Be aware that 1010 On The Lake is located very close to a ready-mix concrete plant, which presents potential health hazards associated with such proximity. Air Quality Concerns: The dust from the concrete plant is a source of fine particles that can reach deep into our lungs. This dust is concerning because it is associated with health issues like asthma, lung damage in children and other serious conditions including heart disease and cancer. Also, expect to wash your car every day because it will constantly be covered in cement dust. This shows how much dust is in the air affecting everything around. Truck Pollution: The diesel trucks servicing the plant pollute the air and produce loud reverse beeping sounds that can be quite disruptive. Emissions from the Plant: The concrete plant releases gases like sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide, and carbon monoxide. Sulfur dioxide can lead to breathing issues, while carbon monoxide may harm the heart and brain. Surprise at Zoning Decisions: It is surprising and concerning that 1010 On The Lake was permitted to be built so close to a concrete plant. The potential health risks should have been a paramount consideration during the planning and approval process. Overall Rating: Given these concerns, I would advise potential residents to carefully consider the health implications of living at 1010 On The Lake."

"Saw an apartment within our price range that was available now, so, naturally, I scheduled a tour online. I was then PROMPTLY sent a text from Kelley (possibly the property manager), BEFORE I had even toured the property, who essentially informed me that no one with an average credit score (less than 670) can rent there. Your income or rental history don’t matter if you don’t have near perfect credit history. It could just be me, but basing approval decisions solely on a credit score (which, mind you, does not even take rental history into account) is absurd. It’s very much giving “ew, you used to be poor, we don’t want you here” vibes. I would suggest seeking a more inclusive community than this one. EDIT: Per the owner’s response, I would like to point out that, though they claim there are other requirements for renting, it does not matter if you have less than a 670 credit score. So the other requirements are moot. THAT is where my frustration lies. Some MORTGAGES don’t require that high of a credit score, so an apartment complex requiring that is very non-inclusive and icky."

"Communication goes both ways and is almost never perfect. It’s the effort that goes into it that matters to me. My experience with 1010 On The Lake has been great. If I’ve needed something, maintenance or otherwise, it’s been addressed. As for the apartment itself and the facilities, WOW. This place is the best value by far, in the area. And the neighbors take care of picking up after their dogs. I don’t have a dog here yet, but I love seeing them around. Inside and out, it feels like home. Edit: almost 2 years here and still enjoying the lake, the gym, the elevator, and the trash chute!"

"I have lived at 1010 On The Lake for about two years now and have had nothing but a great experience! Not only is the apartment beautiful, but the maintenance and management staff is attentive, responsive, and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this complex to anyone. I am unfortunately moving out due to job relocation and they have been beyond helpful in walking me through the process and answering all of my questions. They have made this move so easy for me and I will miss this apartment dearly!"

"They say Location, Location, Location is everything when choosing a place to call home. 1010 on the Lake fits the bill! I am within 5 minutes of everything I need to be comfy and cozy and that includes a fantastic view of Lawrence Youngman Lake from my very own windows! Plus several walking trails to choose from right outside my apartment door. My little companion Fiona Fox and I love it here!"
