Holiday Inn Express & Suites Torrington, an IHG Hotel

"Sheets had blood stains, and the bed frame was bent. We scraped our leg on it. Bathtub had a hair in it. TV did not work properly, and there was dust all over the tables and lamps. Paid 145.00 for a night, only to find that the pool was under construction. My receipt stated the room was 135. However, my account was charged 145. Poor customer service, when we went to the desk to repot issues, no one was there. So we put our own blankets on the bed and made due as we were exhausted from traveling. We had just made a 9 hour trip for a family emergency and had very little sleep. We contemplated staying in Scottsbluff closer to the hospital. However, Torrington is my hometown, and our family lives there."

"Our first room appeared to have mold in the bathroom and the toilet wouldn't work. They screwed up our billing and charged us for an extra room. On Thanksgiving Day they had no one working so our rooms were never cleaned. The continental breakfast was Wonderful."

"Our room was clean and in good condition. Shower had great pressure, beds were comfortable, and a fridge and microwave were in the room. Kids were happy with the pool, hot tub was great. Most impressive though was the fantastic breakfast! They served warm cinnamon buns, cereal, organic milk & chocolate milk, yogurt, hot oatmeal, pancakes, omlettes, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, pork sausage, biscuits, sausage gravy, juices, coffee bar, bread, bagels, muffins, and fruit! So many options! It was probably the biggest hotel breakfast I've ever seen! Totally recommend staying here!"

"I travel quite a bit for work and am truly appalled at this hotels excuse of cleanliness and out dated bedding. A king size suite for $200 after tax and I am still disgusted with what awaited me. It was not worth the pricing in the least and I strongly advise if looking for comfortable or even clean accommodations stay elsewhere!!! Whom ever had the room before me seemed to enjoy either ramen or tape worms in the tub that were left behind, the tub’s jets were also harboring what appeared to be mold, the shower floor was dirty to the point I could not stand on it to shower, there was unknown hair?/string?dirt? Stuck to the night stand, mold or dirt beside the bed, the deadbolt was missing screws therefore useless for privacy, the toilet was NOT cleaned, I couldn’t put anything in the dressers because of black dirt specs that looked to be possible bed bug residue from resent extermination, there was an extensive layer of dust coating the lamps (I ran my finger over it and left a noticeable dark spot on the dust, the floor needed vacuumed badly, and unfortunately last but not least the bed was so uncomfortably old (spring coils) harder than a floor that the couch was what was used for sleeping. DEFINITELY WOULD/DO NOT RECOMMEND"

"Very friendly and clean place to stay. Comfy bed. Soft sheets. Great pillows. TV didn't work and there was no offer to program it or discount my stay. That was the only poor part of this - they should have done something more that saying thank you for letting us know. Phone in room also didn't work and has a mismatched room number. Great breakfast. Lots of options for everyone."
