"I cannot recommend this bbq place. The coleslaw, Mac n cheese, potato salad, and toasted bread were all worse than grocery store food. I’d rather eat at hyvee. The meat was average. I’m not sure how you mess up a loaded baked potato but this place accomplished just that. We won’t be coming back."
"Ordered to go so I can't rate on the service. The ribs were so over cooked that they were black, dry and tough. The brisket had great flavor and texture but it was served to me as pulled instead of slices. I will probably try it again in the future, but I'm not anxious about spending that amount of money on subpar BBQ."
"I tried this place for the first time about a year ago and I’ve been hooked ever since! I love the brisket, and the ribs are a favorite in our household as well. Always very friendly staff, and a clean store. Try the baked potato with meat! One of my favorite."
"Stopped by for a quick lunch. Their $5.99 special meal deal hard to pass. Had the hot links sandwich. Pour over their Hot Bar-B-Q sauce and overall, it was a nice place to stop for some good BBQ. Employees were all nice and courteous. Next time when I have more time, I’ll try the other BBQ on their menu."
"By far the worst food I have had In a long time period. I ordered the burnt ends meal And a loaded baked potato the baked potato Was almost completely dehydrated it was terrible I don't know what they did to that potato but I've never tasted anything quite so bad. Burnt ends are supposed to be tender juicy and melt in your melt in your mouth. The burnt ends that I had here were so oh tough I could barely stab them with my fork much less Chew them, To add insult to injury they didn't taste good. Sapp brothers has better burnt ends and they are not even a barbecue joint. The only saving grace was that the dinner that I ordered came with garlic toast, that was the only thing that I found to be delicious everything else I could not even eat. The staff were Lexidaysical no one had checked on the dining area the whole time we were there. There were quite a few tables that were dirty with food debris. my tabel didnt even have paper towels on the dispenser. If the food had been even mediocre I wouldn't have noticed any of the Other aforementioned issues. My advice is pass this place up and go to any other place ..."
