"This place is a joke. Let a elederly man and lady run out of propane and then go disconnect the tank. After they repeadily. Asked them to make monthly visits to make sure they didn’t run out . Manager. Is a total A -hole . Need to get ahold of corporate . Who just disconnects. An elderly. Couples tank and locks it. Smh not happy"

"The Farmington NM location has absolute terrible customer service! I’d leave no stars if I could. I call for a delivery when my tank is on 20 to 30% like I was told to. I get charged for the propane the day I call for a delivery and the Farmington NM location only delivers in my area on Friday’s. They NEVER deliver my propane when they schedule it. They tell me it will be here Friday and they never show up. Also they are closed after 5:00pm and on the weekends so you can’t even call them. I called this past Monday 2/8/2021 to schedule a delivery, the girl on the phone said it would be delivered that Friday 2/12/2021. I called at 2:00PM on Friday to check and they said my delivery would be here, I called again at 4:00 pm Friday (an hour before the office closes) to make sure I was still on their schedule and she told me that the drivers are in my area and I will be getting my delivery.......surprise!!! They never showed up! Now my tank is on 12% and they are closed for the weekend! I called on a Tuesday 3 weeks ago when I had 25% in my tank and the girl on the phone asked if I could make it to the following Friday (10 days later) and I said no I only have 25% and won’t make it another 10 days. She said ok no problem and said they would be there that Friday (3) days after I called and surprise again!! No one showed up! No show, Monday, no show Tuesday, no show Wednesday and Wednesday night my tank was on 5% so I called and my call got routed to some main headquarters office and I explained to them what was going on, they waved the $190 emergency delivery fee and came right out within an hour of calling. Terrible customer service at the Farmington NM location! It’s always a hassle, never easy and always aggravation. And explained above are only 2 of the many issues I’ve had getting my delivery when THEY schedule it."

"In San Juan county, theses guys are charging around double the price of their competitors. Shop around! Quite a few fees tagged on to that expensive price also. Charged me $90 just to close my account when my yearly tank lease was up already. That's on top of the charges to come pick the tank up! At one point it took 3 weeks to get a fuel delivery because of paperwork issues, but I was never notified. I had to call and ask why I wasn't getting fuel several times before we got it worked out. Corporate nonsense. No fault or problem with the local employees. It's just the company I have a problem with. Bottom line, Suburban would be my LAST choice in San Juan County, AFTER converting to electric heat. There are many better choices in this area for propane."

"This is by far the worst company out there. Aside from their horrible costumer service and lack of professionalism I have had the worst experiences with this company . Everything from no shows on scheduled delivery dates to being over charged, as well as the company changing their scheduled weekly route to another day in the week and not notifying the costumers and making me wait until the next week to deliver. This last time was the worst of all. Considering I’ve been a customer of theirs for over 8 years. I had fallen ill and was in need of medical attention and was unable to call them the day before the scheduled weekly deliveries in our area. I made sure to call first thing the next morning so as they opened to beg them to put me on the route list and explained my situation- this being also Thanksgiving week and they refused to help me. They told me that if I paid an additional $190 for a emergency delivery fee along with the cost for fuel all together totaled $430. I was literally in tears on the phone as I hung up and started searching for another propane company. I had come across Gasco- great reviews and gave them a call and told them my situation- not only were they able to make it out the next day to deliver a tank, do the inspection and top me off with fuel. I only paid $200 for everything!!!!!! They were literally a god send and were so easy to deal with and very sorry to hear about my horrible experience and had said I had not been their first to hear of all the horrible experiences coming from Suburban Propane. Stay clear of this Company."
