Sunset Pointe Apartments

"This place was great when I moved in a year and a half ago. Since then it's been going down hill. Proper maintenance on things like the elevator and washers and dryers haven't been done making the everyday just a little harder. I'm just glad I'm not in a wheelchair otherwise I wouldn't be able to get to my apartment because the elevator is always broken."

"This place was good back then, but for the past couple years, it's been going down hill. 1. The Laundry room machine hardly washes or dry your cloths. I spent $15 dollars for my cloths to be semi washed/dried. I now take my cloths to the laundry Mat down the street, which is cheaper than here. I would avoid using these machines until they are replaced. 2. We pay $25 dollars a month to park under the car port. Unfortunately, people keep parking in our reserved spots. The towing company won't do anything without permission from the office and security. Most of the time, security isn't there, and/or the office is closed because it happen a lot at night. 3. We keep hearing people screaming, laughing, & having loud sex above us through out the whole night from 1am - 3am. This happens every night. You can call noise patrol, but they will only make a note of it to give to the office and that's it, nothing gets done. Why call them when at the end nothing gets done. It's unfair to spend a grand a month for broken machines, noise patrol/apartments not addressing anything, & for not getting to park in my spot that I pay for because a none resident decided to park in my spot. (especially in the evening) The Dude at the front desk, and the maintenance dude are freakin cool!"

"Brain was a good dude, very respectful and grounded, not sure about any of the others as they were short lived conversations that sometimes conflicts with what was told. Stairs are always breaking and come moving time our whole side of the apartments are blocked off and stairs are gone with having to move everything across the whole complex then bringing it down and outside to get things out of our apartment. Asked Brian when it did happen if we can use a dolly he said sure, but not sure if any of the others will let you as Brian was not working and they said they didn’t have one. Laundry rooms are pretty much half operational, washers don’t work dryers don’t dry. Even if clean kept you will get bugs, only had gnats but heard an lot about roaches and beetles. Honestly if you’re thinking about living here just go through Brian, he’s very informative and respectful, there’s no change in attitude in his voice and is always ready to answer questions. He will also make sure your well and everything apartment upkeep wise is good!"

"I lived at Sunset Pointe for five years and had a great time there. Spacious apartments, nice courtyard area, and a beautiful mountain view. The office staff always answered my questions and were helpful with my moving around in the complex (one to two bed, then back to one). The few maintenance problems I did have were fixed promptly and the guys were always super nice and friendly. Lots of people posting about car theft/break ins, but my car sat on that lot overnight for years and never had any issues! No bugs/roaches either, pest control sprayed regularly. I moved out of state, but if I ever return to ABQ, I'd live here again!"
