"Allaso Journal center is a unique property with pros and cons just like any other. My initial review may have been biased due to medical issues and a major C-PTSD flare up. For anyone who has experienced C-PTSD personally, or via a loved one, it’s terrifying and makes small concerns seem like dangerous threats :/. Now feeling better and wanted to update my thoughts for future prospective renters :) Pro’s - convenient location near target and major roads/freeways - Best maintenance staff I have ever encountered. Eduardo is amazing, always kind and genuinely happy to help. He is professional, and truly cares about the health and well-being of his residents. - good parking availability, I decided to forgo the designated parking cuz I’m a cheapskate Yankee at heart lol, and have found a spot every night without having to park on the street etc. - The multi floor gym is pretty cool and unique. It was a little confusing at first, but now that I’m used to it, it’s definitely a nice amenity to have. - The Rec room with fireplace, pool table and upscale coffee maker is a nice perk!! Very upscale design and nice to hang or small parties. Con’s - building materials have been a problem. I moved here because of severe dust and mold allergies. Allaso apartments have no carpet, which I thought would have me feeling a lot better. My allergies have actually gotten worse since moving here and I feel like I am spending hours every day cleaning. They have been painting in the hallways and there was still construction residue in my brand new apartment, so between Dust & chemical fumes it’s been a little rough. The materials they used for the flooring and cabinets, attract hair, dust, and who knows what no matter how many times you clean them. Trying not to be OCD about it lol, but you can see it throughout the building and it’s a bummer because a brand new facility should look a lot sharper. 50. - Safety feels like a bit of an issue. The doors are sometimes open at night and I’ve seen folks who may be transient, drug users, etc. hanging around the gates or in common areas such as Rec room or elevator. I was hoping for a young professional, and maybe snowbird demographic, but it feels a little sketchy at the moment. I believe there have been a few Petty theft, including a bicycle. I know this is Albuquerque but also a bummer for the price. It would be nice to feel safe. Overall, this is a great place to live if you like spacious apartments, and a convenient location. I don’t recommend it for anyone with allergies or chemical sensitivities. Every 20-something DoorDasher LOVES the building, and always asks me about rent. Lol. I’d say if you are single or a couple in your 20’s you’ll love it here! Or, someone who’s not home a lot or is not fussy about allergies or dust (like me haha) Hasn’t been a great fit for me overall but that doesn’t mean it’s not the right place for someone else. Bryanna and her team have been very understanding and patient with me during a difficult time, and I will always remember their kindness and professionalism."

"I left a review on yelp, with pictures and leaving a review here! Best community I have seen in ABQ! They are a new complex and the amenities are top notch! Gorgeous layouts, with a beautiful gym, lounge, and other perks. I was just viewing the apartments and even the neighbors were super friendly when I would encounter them. Kendall was my leasing agent and he was thoughtful, honest and just great overall and provided a great tour of the property! Very patient and even showed me some of the places twice! Great customer service. The place is clean, I even saw the cleaning lady mopping the hallways when I was there. Also, this place is very secure! Gated community and everything is indoors (think like a high end hotel) so your mail etc. is all inside the building which just feels safer. Even though I ended up going in a different direction I would stay here in a heart beat! Some of the best apartments I've seen in Albuquerque! T"

They were so accommodating to our schedule and made the process so easy! The maintenance team works so quickly and are so mindful to even the smallest details! All of the staff are so genuine and helpful!"

"Unlike people who don't live here and complain about the price (try living in L.A. where pay isn't that much better but rent is double). I love the spacious apartment and amenities. Friendly staff and really nice Gym."
