Altezza High Desert Apartments

"This place is terrible. The only good thing about this place is the location. Maintenance is a joke. If you don't fix things yourself they will never get fixed. My dishwasher hasn't worked in over 2 weeks now. The fire pit by the pool has never worked since I moved in. The apartments also weren't built with adequate noise reduction so if you're on the bottom floor you will hear constant stomping above you all the time. Its not like at other apartments - its like you're living inside of a drum."

"My husband and I have been living here for the past 6 months, and have enjoyed it for the most part. The area is nice and quiet, the grounds are kept well, never have any trouble with the neighbors, and the office is really nice. Maintenance is a little understaffed, so work orders usually take a while, but that's understandable. Just one thing I have to complain about. Most of the windows/sliding doors in the apartment are single paned, rather than double paned for insulation. I don't know if that's a normal thing for Albuquerque apartments, but I recently moved from Idaho where single paned windows are a problem and cause havoc with the electricity bill. We've put up blankets and curtains and that helps a lot. Just something to consider for future residents, I know there's nothing management can do about it at this point."

"This property is one of the best rental properties I’ve occupied. Not only is the location ideal and beautiful, the staff has been awesome to work with as well. From the office staff, to maintenance, I always have a pleasant experience. John especially goes above and beyond for his tenants and he is a great asset to the team. Love Altezza!"

"DO NOT RENT FROM THIS APARTMENT!!!! I lived here for close to 2 years, never missed a payment, rarely complained about anything when I moved out got pinned with a $600 move out fee for apartment not being clean enough? The appliances were always broken in my apartment and when I would call to get fixed they would take an average of 2 weeks to fix and just show up unannounced and walk into my house without knocking. What really upsets me is they said I could dispute the claim that my apartment wasn't clean enough through a mediation process. What this really meant was they would send me to a collection agency with the word mediation in it. Totally unprofessional and quite frankly am not sure that is even legal. Its a bunch of kids that work there and they didn't;'t seem to actually care once they knew your were moving out. For what they charge it by far does not equal what is marketed and I would advise to look elsewhere. I am filing claims with the AG, BBB, and housing authority over the way my contract was terminated. This could be handled much differently."
