"The best part of living at Broadstone were my neighbors. Very friendly people. Having pet friendly apartments made my dog and I feel welcome. The rent was higher than I expected and I would have stayed longer if it had been lower. Wish more time was spent on maintenance. Paths surrounding apartments could use stronger lighting and I couldn’t use my balcony because the door didn’t open easily. The balcony door was letting out warmth the first two years because of a misalignment in the door. In my final year, the maintenance man put in weather stripping to help.I put in maintenance requests about the door before, but I guess the cost of the repair was a factor in it not being fixed earlier. I’d make vinyl floor in apartments standard. It came in handy when my dog was sick and helped keep the floor in better condition. Lots of available parking and I liked that Broadstone updated the gym and the pool. It’s in a great neighborhood and close to grocery stores and Paseo Del Norte."

"I had to move out early and break my lease due to unforeseen circumstances. Lauren Santistevan went above and beyond to help make the process as easy as possible. She was warm, kind and generous with her time. She is wonderful at her job and the reason for my 5-star review! I rarely ever write reviews, but I was having a really rough couple of weeks and Lauren was a true bright spot."

"Leaving this review to compliment Chris and his colleague, the maintenance personnel. They came to replace our broken dryer today and we told them about some other small repairs that we needed in the apartment. They fixed every issue we asked them to address quickly and professionally, including fixing a broken flush handle, ceiling light, and stove burner. Extremely thankful for these extremely friendly repairmen, they deserve a raise for being so helpful, flexible, and professional."

"I lived here for three years. Let’s discuss each aspect of why I’ve rated this place so poorly. Management: 0/5. I’ve never lived somewhere that treats its tenants so poorly and from your first interaction - as if you’re the issue. They do not want to help. They would rather you go away. They are not friendly. (Also - it is really weird that all the super good reviews specifically mention Lauren - seems suspicious and well fake). heads up. Pests: at the end of my three years I had ants. I have a cat. I did not want poison in my apartment. But the apartment did not offer any pet-friendly solutions (besides a little plastic thing that did nothing). So it was up to me to buy the products and take care of it on my own dime. (See pics for proof) Notifications: again an issue with management. If you are working a normal job. Good luck. Management will maybe give u 24 hours heads up that your pet needs to be properly locked up for one of their inspections or whatever. This happens about every 3 months. “Amenities” Pool/Gym: they were never open. And you won’t get any money back. Because they are amenities and not actually included in the lease. I’ve definitely dealt with this before and definitely had a discount on my lease ant other places. Again poor management decisions. Also you should know the pool will always be closed for a significant amount of time every summer because of “inspections” and they are very poor about communicating that to you. This year it was closed until July. Not worth. Gym still closed. Mail: I can’t tell you how many packages “didn’t arrive”. That my tracking app said did arrive. It happened to be the expensive name brand items too - which is highly suspicious. I don’t trust anyone in that office. In addition my little mailbox was broken Into more than once. And for some reason they still refuse to post cameras in that area. Also so suspicious. Gates: hah they are NOT secure. I think they worked for 30% of the time I lived there total. But the outside gates are completely open for someone to walk in through. I would not feel safe unless my car is in a garage. Good luck. Overall, don’t live here. It’s a pain to get out of their lease. Abq has many new apartments being built and many great houses to rent. Go with those."
