"So I came to this place back in 2023 to have my 2022 taxes done. When I called to make a appointment I was only free on the weekends so that is when I made my appointment for. When I get there the women in side was on the phone. And I told her I had a appointment for that ever time it was. She then tells me she does not make appointment for the weekend. I then tell her how am only available on the weekends witch I guess she remembered making the appointment. I sit down tell her what I have as far as my W-2s witch was two from Indiana and one from California. The one from California was from a library tax office as at that time I was a 5 year sign waver for library. She takes all my info and then tells me it should be about $150.00 to have my taxes done. I ask her about being a employee of a library tax office and it should be free. She then tells me that am not working for library that year and am not working for her office plus I have out of state W-2s that cost extra to file. I said ok she then said give me bout a week and I will call you when they are done. About a week later she called I go back to sign what I had to sign and pay her. The price had dubbed to just over $300.00. Nice to see how she treats employees of different offices. I paid it because of the amount of refund I got back. Now here is why I am leaving this review. It was a few weeks later when I was I was looking through my paper work for the taxes she had done. She had the address wrong. The numbers and name of street was right. But city, state and zip was wrong. I called her told her bout it she said she was going to change it. She never did. I found out this year it was the same. 1. It really sucks that you do not care bout employees of different offices even if it's not in New Mexico. 2. It really sucks that you change me full price as a employee of that tax year I was filling for. And 3. Did not do what you said you did. What if there there was a issue ? The IRS or state of California or the state of Indiana woukd have tried to send a letter to the address you listed. And of course it woukd not be delivered be that address does not Exist in the city and state you have. I should all so say blackjack is a nick name. Real name is William. And am sure when the women who is the owner of this library tax office reads this. She will have some nasty reply to it. She is in my opinion less then Professional. She seemed to have an attitude and was waiting for something to be said so she could snap and go off. Anyone looking to have their taxes done I would advise you to try another Liberty Tax office. If you wish to have liberty tax do your taxes. stay far away from this office."

"I was happy to find preparer that would be able to file our taxes before the deadline. Lisa was proud to take advantage and got us in the following week. This owner operated office is extremely cluttered and disorganized, she lost copies of our paperwork and had to reschedule us twice. We were told sensitive documents were stored in the restroom and it could not be used. I’m sure we were overcharged and we were not eligible for savings programs that are posted throughout the entire office. Because if we save, the owner loses. False promoting and unprofessional business management is my biggest complaint. Unless we are audited due to this place, we have yet to know if our taxes were even filed correctly. Which are done according to the owners best ability and only in the way she wants. All other reputable tax locations were already booked for the season and were only able to file extensions, should have been my first clue."

"I'm actually surprised at the amount of negative reviews I've read here. So far, I have had great customer service with Liberty Tax. I initially was uncertain about picking them to do my taxes but overtime they have won me over. Yes, I pay a bit more but I have received a fuller, bigger refund since working with Lisa."
