"Lori made the worst day of my life 10x worse. In 2021, I was 5 weeks pregnant. I was in considerable pain with a low HCG. My husband and I went to the Rust Medical Center ER and they would not let my husband accompany me (thanks Covid). He waited in the parking lot all night. After numerous tests, it was determined that my pregnancy was ectopic and had ruptured causing blood to pour into my abdomen, which required emergency surgery to remove the pregnancy and Fallopian tube. Lori Saiz was on call that night and had ZERO compassion for me and my situation. She acted as though I was bothering her. I asked her what my options were and if I could see the ultrasound confirmation that my baby was in my tube and she refused because she didn’t want to go through the trouble of wheeling me down the hall to the ultrasound machine or room. After a series of rude comments, dismissive behavior, and overall irritability towards me, I had never felt more dehumanized. It was the worst time in my life and Lori made it so much worse. She had no bedside manner, no compassion, no heart. I am deeply traumatized by the loss of my baby and removal of my Fallopian tube, having to go through it alone, and having Lori as my doctor."

"Was under her care for the short time I visited triage. This was my second time visiting in two weeks and they way I was treated by Lori was night and day compared to the sweet and compassionate nurses and midwives from my previous visit. She didn’t want to spend time figuring out what was going on with me. She came to her own conclusion based on one thing I mentioned and refused to think anything else was wrong even after my test results didn’t all come back normal. She had zero bedside manner and zero professionalism. She told me my pain must not be too bad since I can sleep through it and when she didn’t like what I had to say about our visit she simply stated to take it up with my provider and walked out. 10/10 would not recommend!!"
