"Life long Blue Cross member but New Mexico was nothing short of wreckless, careless, unprofessional, and abusive. In 2023 my clinic submitted paperwork for approval and after 2 weeks I called to find out only half the paperwork was approved so it just sat. When I call the clinic they escalated it and within an hour the rest was approved so the hardware could be delivered. This year the identical paperwork was submitted by a different clinic and after 2 weeks I called because I had ZERO confidence after last year. After Bing on hold 15 minutes as the agent tried to track down the status I was hung upon. I guess they could ot effectively do their job. So I called back only to get hung up on with no reply. That's when management got involved to figure what was going on. At this point I have over 13 grand from surgery due at the hospital I cab only imagine how I'm going to be abused over this one."
"TAKE ME OFF YOUR MAILING LIST! Tried to call to stop frequent US mail, advertising the "Advantage" plan of Medicare. I am on a DO NOT MAIL LIST which they ignore. Called many times but no one will assist me. NOTE: THE ADVANTAGE PLAN IS NOT MEDICARE AND PROVIDES LESS COVERAGE THAN STANDARD MEDICARE AND SENIORS HAVE WORSE OUTCOMES BECAUSE OF THESE PLANS. SHOULD BE ILLEGAL."
"DO NOT USE THEM! they discriminate against seniors. Especially if they use the bcbs prescription plan and they wont accept your prescription if its NOT on their prescription agenda. Very poor customer service! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! they never reply to emails, calls or letters!"
"Blue Cross Blue Shield is using a paperwork error by Mayo Clinic to deny reimbursing my mother for a Pre authorized (by blue cross and blue shield) medical expense. This is not the first time. It takes the NM State insurance authority to get them to pay. I suggest anyone switch to another insurance."
"I went to the headquarters to straighten out an issue I was having with a bill from Lovelace for 3 months. They were very polite and accommodating. I was able to get my issue fixed immediately. Very nice facility!!"
