During the pandemic there were part shortages and the installer set it up so I could use it. I went to mountain west with pictures and in less than a week it was corrected with an apology. "We've had 2 appointments for a home visit two weeks apart. Both were cancelled due to illness. Apparently the only person that can look at our fireplace project has been sick for over 2 weeks. We sincerely hope he gets better. However, the only thing I can say about this company is that I would not count on them to get the job done in a timely manner. "My wife and I installed a wood burning stove (Blaze King) and needed the double and triple wall pipe to complete the project so we went to Mountain West. I had positioned the stove where we wanted it and sketched out a diagram with all the measurements I thought were pertinent for the stove pipe. We had Mark helping us and he was able to put together all of the pipe we needed. Mark was very knowledgeable and made the whole process very simple. This is a really neat store if you are thinking about putting in a wood, gas or pellet stove or fireplace insert. They have several displays to look at and everyone seemed to be very friendly and helpful. They also supply parts to other retailers in Albuquerque. If you buy your stove from another retailer I would recommend buying additional items (pipe, ceiling support etc) here to save some money. We saved about $1000 by buying our pipe here."
