Homewood Suites by Hilton Albuquerque Downtown

"The rooms are very clean, the security is very vigilant (I felt safe staying here) and my only complaint is the pillows weren’t extremely comfy. They have a nice second floor outside space with fire places and outside tables. We did not eat at the restaurant. If you are looking to stay close to the convention center, this place is about an 8 minute walk, though, I would not recommend walking alone to or from it at night. There are some close by restaurants in walking distance."

"Newer combo hotel with very nice design. Parking garages are gated, but fill up fast. The underground one will be the most vacant. Garden Inn on lower floors, Homewood on the top two floors. Unfortunately it is ruined by two major problems, in my opinion, plus one more minor gripe: 1. Beds are horrible. Firm, cheap mattress. If you need a soft, comfortable bed, do not stay here. Both sections use the same mattresses. I even asked several other guests, they agreed. Stop being so cheap, Hilton! In my experience you have to stay at a Double Tree or higher to get a premium mattress. 2. Road noise. Omg, Central Ave is completely out of control. Expect to hear every loud car in town showing off for the crowds til about midnight. There's also a train nearby, to the west. 3. My room had a standing shower. It is very narrow. The "convenient" shampoo and soap dispensers are mounted right where your elbows are, so expect to be whacking those. Brilliant."

"Nice rooms and decent cookware and dishes in the kitchen. I stayed 2 weeks, and I cooked there one night, and had plenty of dishes. There's also a large fridge with separate freezer. I gor a mountain view room, it was a really nice view every morning. Breakfast was what you expect (breakfast is on the 2nd floor), and since it's connected to a Hilton garden inn there is a bar and grill downstairs, so you can get dinner or a drink. Bar tender was very skilled, though drinks were surprisingly pricey for a hotel bar in albuquerque. It was centrally located to lots of food options, I wouldn't consider it a bad part of town, but it also didn't feel super safe to walk around alone. I will likely stay there again if I have to go back to Albuquerque."

"Our stay here was wonderful. It included all the amenities we needed and much more. There was a fully stocked kitchen, a desk, and a couch which was a great plus. The room was ample and it was very clean. The staff was friendly and ambience was relaxing and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was also delicious. I enjoyed the central location of the hotel as it was close to many attractions and restaurants. Initially, the surroundings didn't feel very safe, but the hotel takes extra measures on security to enter the hotel as well as provides secure parking to all guests. Will definitely continue staying here when I visit Albuquerque."

"The room was spacious. The room has its own A/C unit so you can have room at a desired temperature. Bed sheets and pillows were really cozy. Complimentary breakfast was really good and had good variety of items."
