The Querque Hotel

"I really liked the Querque hotel and already booked again for my next trip. They had decent breakfast (modest, just muffins & fruit etc), very comfortable beds, great heating/AC, great water pressure & didn’t run out of hot water, and most importantly - 24/7 security in the parking lot. For the pricing, I really don’t know what more anyone could expect. Also close to some great restaurants."

"my husband's review: location & homeless people dicey. front desk staff very bland. the room could use better cleaning. breakfast: not much of a breakfast. we got there 8 am & most food items were gone. the man stocking the breakfast area spoke only Spanish & with me speaking little Spanish figured out they had no back stock to replenish the out of stock items. good shower pressure. the bed was comfortable. nice size TV & adequate channels."

"If you're wondering if the 3 star rating is a lie - it is. Everything in the hallway could be heard in the room, as there was a large gap under the door that light also streamed through. I put a towel under the gap to block it. My friend and I both didn't get much sleep because there was also noise from the road and the bed sheets were crunchy and made sound when you moved. Putting the fan in the air conditioning unit on didn't work because it had a jarring sound. Housekeeping tried to barge into the room twice around 8:30 AM, when we were still asleep. That was only about 4 hours after I fell asleep since we arrived late, and the room was so hard to fall asleep in. When I told the second person who tried to barge in that we hadn't checked out yet through the door, she didn't say sorry or even say anything. My friend said she saw them doing the same thing down the hallway. That's their policy I guess? Try to barge in to every single room for housekeeping? We also got a random intrusive phone call from the front desk just a couple minutes after, when we hadn't asked for a phone call. I've been to a lot of hotels and I've never had an experience like this."

"We stayed here for one night as we were passing through. The staff were warm, welcoming & accommodating throughout our stay. The room was equipped with all that was needed and the bed was comfortable. The only downside was the pool area/recreation area. The indoor pool was a little too cold for how cold it was outside. The hot tub had water in it but it was freezing cold and the dials didn’t work to make it function. And we were really looking forward to the sauna which was room temperature at best. Again those dials didn’t work to make it hotter. Would have been nice to use those features to fully relax in after a long day of driving."

"Fantastic hotel. The beds and pillows were uber comfy with plush fabric. The spa and pool were wonderful, great place for a family. I had low expectations, and was just looking online for a cheap place crash on a road trip. Happily surprised. Left refreshed, took our time checking out which was at noon giving us ample time to relax. I’ve stayed at 5 star hotels and resorts, as the saying goes you get what you pay for, usually less actually, and I’ve paid far more for less. This hotel is a steal. The Best hotel for the price ever, would even pay more. We’ll be back, I’ll be bringing friends."
