"I stayed at the Mountaineer Inn, Reserve, NM, in November 2023. For a room without phone service, it was a little pricey - just over $100. However, the room was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay, including the breakfast muffins and water awaiting me in my room. There are no other motel/hotel options in Reserve, but without hesitation I will stay here again."
"Very disappointed . Even though we had reservations and the clerk knew we had reservations she did not honor the previous price. It cost us almost $500 to rent two rooms for 2 nights. The rooms were okay. I don't believe the rooms were very clean in fact the lady came out of the room saying it was freshly cleaned but when we went in there the shower door was broken off the hinges and the sheets kind of smelled sweaty. I wonder how she didn't notice the shower door if she cleaned the shower and I don't think they change the sheets or maybe they just weren't washed very well. And there is a small step down into parking area which was not painted yellow or any caution signs. And unfortunately I fell very hard on to the concrete parking area and hurt my knee very bad. Which caused me to wear a knee brace for about 2 weeks. I will say driving up to the place it looks very nice , parking lot was clean and the buildings looked in good condition."
