"This motel may not meet the standards of every traveler, but let me tell you about my experience. I was supposed to stay at a motel in a nearby city only to arrive and find that there was a problem with the reservation. I called Holiday Motel not long before midnight in a panic and talked to the kindly gentleman there. He assured me that he would reserve a room and didn't even ask for a credit card to hold it. I arrived after midnight an hour later to find this gentleman waiting outside the office, anticipating my arrival. I will never forget his kindness."
"Room was comfortable and clean! Check in was quick and the price was as advertised without hidden costs. Hardly noticed the train going by. Slept great! Awesome water pressure and the heater worked amazing! Would recommend"
"This is one time I'm truly doubting that the good reviews aren't the owner's comments. The hotel is dingy and distressed. One of our 2 rooms had mouse droppings all over the floor. There was a filthy wash rag in the bathroom. One of the fitted sheets was missing on the bed. There were holes in the curtains. We decided to leave even though the room cost was non refundable. The hotel then called us to accuse us of using the room for showers and leaving even though we'd already paid them for the room.."
"This motel is the epitome of not judging a book by its cover. I was welcomed warmly and the room was far better than I expected. The bedding was clean, and the shower was great! Had a microwave and fridge that worked. I did not even turn the TV on, so I cannot comment on that. I would stay here again."
"The room was larger than the average hotel room, clean, no cracks or stains anywhere. Good water pressure and the mattress and pillows were new and quite comfortable. The couple who manage the place were great. Walter checked me in when I got in late at night and his wife Claudia was working the next morning when I checked out. Both extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside was the proximity to the railroad tracks. Trains did pass by all through the night. Overall a great palace to stop while traveling cross country."
