Reviews
"Terrible harassment from field worker. Wouldn’t stop coming to try to procure a survey- even when clearly told we weren’t interested."
"ZJR, the recent reviewer below mine, is being quite dramatic. I am going to help out a bit with a positive review. Even though the job itself was extremely draining for me. The company does fine. The training went well. Never had a major problem with leadership. I left after 9 months. 3 of those months were work-from home (ZJR might be jealous, leading to such an angry review). You need to be a top performer to maintain the privilege. The job was mental torture for me, personally. I could see how some people could manage it though. Despite the job being soul draining, I believe the company itself did decent. They are all in just about the same page as you, working in soulless job conditions and yet, still manage to handle it well. Do your job well and consistently and they will leave you be. So glad I moved on to a different job though. And man, the flexibility they have is incredible. That swap board is great. Fellow college students, I still recommend. Just bare the pain."
"This has to be one of the worst managed call center I’ve ever worked for, and this is from personal and peer experience; you will be hired with a lot of promises they can’t follow, due to extreme employee turnover, and incompetent leadership. The trainer is condescending and will humiliate/ berate you like a child in elementary school, if you somehow manage to get though 2 weeks of that, the work takes a toll on your mind, as you are yelled over the phone the entirety of your shift. You can feel no one genuinely cares about you here it’s like we are a number to them, our training class was told when hired we would be a remote position, but after 4 months on site only 1 person was sent home, the rest of the employees either quit or got fired. When I had issues with transportation as I did a 60mile round trip to site, management informed me I was not eligible for remote, they changed it and made it impossible for most to “qualify” they expect perfection out of their employees… but don’t even think about having payroll or scheduling problems, you’ll most likely receive a robot response, it seems as some leaders on site are not equipped with the knowledge or skills to deal with the general public Their business model I suspect will not last another 5 years. If you value career growth this place is not for you. The turnover in this place is awful because of the lack of empathy towards employees, they promise many many things to lure people in, including incentives and privileges. I worked here for 8 months, and the lack of etiquette/ professionalism, is ridiculous. Management is extremely incompetent, and not fit to be working with the general public, the training was one of the WORST I’ve ever received working in the call center industry, the trainer is condescending and extremely rude. You get the sense these people do not want to be there, and they make it known. Your just a number to this company, beware."
"Before I get into my review I would like to at least apologize to the people that this company has harassed, if you tell them to take you off the do not call list they will still call you so I advise anyone who has this issue block this company block the number because they will not stop calling! I had worked here up until the first of October and I'm definitely not going to recommend my friends or anyone who are my worst enemy to even work at this place. Too high of a turnover rate. First off the training if they did more training and not rushed it maybe they would have less complaints about HPE. They train telephone interviewers In a way that it's too fast They don't focus on practicing when you do get on to the floor for inbound or outbound calling and they expect you to be perfect right when you start. The problem here training did not teach everything when you reach that floor it is something else. Their metric system is supposed to be perfect according to them but when they are comparing your performance to everyone else's performance on the floor that is not a good thing. We are all individuals and we work a certain way. We don't work the same way and obviously it's like they want a bunch of robots. When you get feedback and you have something to say they do not like it when you have to speak back to them even if you do it politely it is still called Unprofessional for you to even question them. Scheduling is another story because you put a schedule in there are times you won't even get that schedule even if you follow their guidelines listed on the form. I could go on and on because this company wants to come off as perfect but they are far from perfect and yet they still get funding. This company has no respect for their employees. I have seen people on the floor getting so many surveys, Yet these individuals still get spoken to by supervisor for whatever reasons. Employees who do follow the rules and do their job still get fired. They are never happy, even if they are getting the performance they want from their employees. One hiccup you're done for. It's always something they don't like. They do not know what they want! All they know surveys get them the money. They will continue to bother random people on their mobile phones (even if placed on tmol), no cares given for employees, and of course people looking for jobs will continue to flock to them. If you want to work here because you have to be on your A game according to their metrics. Expect to be disrespected regardless of performance (even if their Call Miner, and other weekly reports say you do well these reports lie as a lead told me these reports don't determine whether you keep the job or not). In the end the money's not worth the people yell at you( who I understand why they are frustrated when they do get calls from the interviewers), management breathing down your back, and just the overall attitude of "We'll treat you with special foods or treats because we know if we blind you with an inch of kindness you'll stay until we fire you on our terms"."
"On-site training is nice, hours are flexible, and there's free coffee. Although, if you go through the temp agency you can't actually start working from home right away. If you work on-site it's kind of hot in there, the bathrooms are gross, and they make you clock out for bathroom breaks."
