Melissa's Music Makers is a music school located at 10406 Cantacielo Drive Northwest in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Founded and run by Melissa Nigh, a passionate and experienced music teacher with over 28 years of experience, Melissa's Music Makers offers a variety of music programs including Let’s Play Music, Sound Beginnings, Bridge, and Presto. Melissa is also an online facilitator for the Let’s Play Music program.
Melissa's love for music and connecting with people through music shines through in her teaching. She believes in the therapeutic and healing power of making music together and aims to help families create a culture of music making in their homes. With a background in piano, oboe, and vocals, Melissa is dedicated to sharing her passion for music with her students.
Melissa and her husband have a large and loving family, including seven children, four in-law children, five grandchildren, and two dogs. They enjoy camping, playing card games, and watching period dramas. Albuquerque has been their home for the past two years, and they are grateful for the weather, mountains, and community.
