Pineridge Urgent Care

"The sad part about this one star is I really like the doctor. We've seen him several times and he provides great care. But his office Assistant refused us care and refused to call my insurance company (the same I've had for 10+ years) because they thought I had a deductible (I don't). They then sent my daughter, with a potential concussion, to an urgent care in Albuquerque. When I told them I was going to post on the internet their handling of the situation they said they would call the Sherriff for threatening them! Wow!"

"Went there today because my sore throat won't go away after 3 days. They turned me away saying my insurance would take too long to process, so they said to go to an ER, or pay them 220 now. They said the insurance would take up to 3 days to process. I went to Duke City Urgent care and they took me right away and diagnosed me with covid. All they had to do was verify that I had insurance, I payed my 10$ copay and i was able to be seen. Hopefully they know this for future reference and will stop turning people away. Just because they dont want to call the insurance/or not get paid immediatly is not a good reason to turn someone away from medical care. I would be safe and go to another urgent care, if you have the choice."

"I had a high fever and had been super sick. I didn't want my mom to give me a ride to UC as I didn't want to put her at risk so I took a bunch of meds to drive myself and my mom followed me to be safe. The doc acted like I couldn't be that sick since I drove even thought I had trouble walking in and around and showed him pics of the high fevers. He gave me a covid test and told me to just go home and wait it out. So I basically paid 220 for a covid test they never even bothered to get me the results of and to be told I was over reacting to fevers as high as 103.7. Turns out I was both sick and had a kidney infection. If I would have tried waiting it out much longer I could have died. I'll never be back."

"I went here after a cat bite. Dr.M greated me and as soon as i filled out the forms, he called me in. He was so professional and really listened. He even answered a health question I had that no one was able to for years. I highly recommend him and so glad I didn't waste my time going to town. I wish he could be my pcp.The whole visit was less than 45 minutes. So happy to have this East Mountain UC. It's a real service to the locals. Wonderful experience."

"I am a travel nurse and went to this UC today. I was met by the doctor who introduced himself and was very professional. He told me upfront what my copayment would be $160-$200. He listened, was empathetic and I was satisfied with my care. He disinfected the equipment such as the BP cuff and the exam room was clean and well maintained. Waiting Room Decor is a bit “different. Was in and out in 30 minutes, highly recommend."
