"Dar a Luz is the only place I go for my care, including prenatal, postnatal, and postpartum. I have been with them since 2020. I was pregnant with my first and amidst COVID I felt like the hospitals had no time for me. I gave Dar a Luz a shot, and I was in love. They answer all my questions with detail, they ask questions beyond the usual “how are you feeling”. They educated me about my care at all times. They also educated us on newborn care, natural birth, breastfeeding and transferring to the hospital if needed. Which I did. When we were ready for a second child Dar a Luz did a check up and even let me check out a book from their library that ended up educating my spouse and I more than your average 28 day cycle knowledge we all know. Dar a luz is always there for my needs. They make me feel empowered, accepted, cared for and listened to."

"I have been a client at Dar a Luz for two pregnancies and even though both experiences were very different, my experience at Dar a Luz was always positive. My first pregnancy was uneventful and I was able to deliver at Dar a Luz. I felt supported throughout my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My birth was empowering and positive. My second pregnancy ended up being high risk, so I had to deliver at a hospital, but the care I received at Dar a Luz up to that point and postpartum was high quality and empathetic. There were challenges associated with changing my care during my pregnancy in response to my pregnancy being high risk, but those challenges were caused by our fractured health system, not Dar a Luz. They did their best to support me in accessing the care that I needed. I recommend them highly and wish that I could find a primary care clinic as supportive and wonderful as Dar a Luz. It's a special place."
