"Sadly, I am in the process of filing a malpractice suit against Elite OSM for a breached standard of care. I was injured by one of their providers, who turned out to be only a massage therapist, standardly performing chiropractic adjustments. When the young, inexperienced, fraudulent practitioner bore down on my shoulder, I cried out in pain for him to stop. He played it off like his method was standard. For the next few days I developed crippling migraines, vomiting, and dizziness. I reported to Elite, gave them the opportunity to correct my injury, but after learning that the erroneous practitioner was allowed (the manager and co-workers knew) to practice outside his scope, I lost trust with the entire organization and left. Eight months later, I am still in chronic pain and discomfort. This injury has disrupted my life! I have just begun treatments with a legitimate Doctor of Chiropractic, while paying out of pocket. I've asked Elite to cover my expenses for healing, however, all I get from the owner is plausible deniability and avoidance. I am not a high profile sports person, and I am here to report that I did not receive a basic standard of care. I don’t care how reputable or skilled the owner is, such ethics defines his true character. The first tenant of medical practice is to “do no harm.” In an office where everyone is enabling harm to occur, they are all at fault. There is no integrity, nor honor, in a company that would allow such a thing to happen and then hide. Elite should not be trusted with anyone’s spine! Chiropractic malpractice can result in permanent paralysis and even death. If you value health, integrity, ethics, seasoned expertise, and wisdom, then I recommend that you go somewhere else. Take a look at the website (wish i had), wailing on people's spines is pure machismo and false bravado. If any others have been harmed as a result of wrongful practice at Elite OSM, I hope that you will speak up! Such medical malpractice should not be allowed to continue! I do not like to have to leave a poor review, however, I have done my civic duty and provided warning. When i first posted this review there were only twenty two reviews before. In one day, twelve new five star reviews with comments from the owner came in . . . clearly a deliberate attempt to drown my review out. Do not be fooled. I am also reporting Elite's practices to the NM licensing boards."
