"Terrible place to wait more than 2 hours to get doctor to talk to me. I just went for a follow up appointment. I called Patient Advocate and filed a concern with this office! I don’t recommend to make appointments with them."

"Doctors are amazing but the two woman at the checkin desks, one lady in window 4 was yelling at a man, the man was a bit anxious about his surgery, the lady was so signature I need to sign responsible form I was like just make sure 67 symptoms are vaccinated employee or student unprofessional. And the lady in window 2 was the same very dismissive when asked a question. When a patient comes to get a procedure we as patients are a bit anxious and as patients we should deserve some kind of kindness and understanding. I feel that these ladies need some training on communication skills. The techs and the doctors were great. Michael was also great he brought me to the back and checked me in."

"Waited 20 minutes to be checked in. Had a 1:55 appointment with Dr. Gehlert I was put in a room & waited for 45 minutes when a tech accidentally came in. I asked why the wait was so long? She went to check & told me he had 1 more patient in front of me. So I waited another 15 minutes. A PA came in, Bobby Blackburn, he was very good. Did an examination & told me Dr Gehlert would check in before I left. I never saw Dr. Gehlert. I was asked to schedule a 6 month followup. Again, waited 15-20 minutes watching the receptionists laughing & chatting. Finally after being at the clinic for 2 hours I left without followup. Worst experience ever at UNMH. The clinic was chaotic, unprofessional, poor patient care."

"Been coming here since a bad car accident 2 years ago and every appt is the same... get checked in 40 minutes after appt time, see doctor at least an hour to an hour and a half after scheduled time. Their office seems so disorganized and the front desk personnel all completely disappears for great lengths of time, regardless of how many people are waiting to be checked in - with a standing-room only waiting room. Someone needs to overhaul management and staff to get this place operating efficiently. If I ever need orthopedic anything in the future, I'd rather go anywhere else, even out of city or state. These people don't value you or your time and will gladly consume your entire day without as much as an apology. Avoid this clinic at all costs."

"The orthopedic clinic places a high value on disorganization and providing patients with misinformation. You will need either great mind-reading skills or a crystal ball when dealing with this clinic. So far they have made 2 appointments for me - without my knowledge. A flexible schedule is a must - since you receive little notice of these appointments. I did receive reminder calls on the Friday prior to the Monday appointments. They don't tell you the time of the appointments - only the day. This is where your crystal ball comes in handy. But it really doesn't matter, because once there, you are kept waiting for a couple of hours. I was told I had a broken wrist, and was told by a different doctor that my wrist was not broken. They can't seem to get it together - but then again I don't think they really care."
