"Sadly we cannot provide a better review. Dr. Wagner and HME have, so far, for months failed to resolve BiPap issues in our home. No real sleep with a machine that either malfunctions, even the replacements fail, OR a lack of complete instructions for severely health compromised patient and no one takes a real problem determination to a solution approach. Trial and Error causes failed breathing for full sleep. We've only had months of Trial and Error - Help?"

"Sleep medicine in NM is not great. Most of the better doctors left the field a few years ago when there was a lot of reshuffling of ownership at major healthcare practices. After that, a lot of poorly qualified doctors who have just done a sleep medicine course to make more money have moved into town and taken over. Lana Wagner may well be the last good sleep med doctor in town. She's a mainstream MD, so she's not into newer things for sleep breathing, like myofunctional therapy to improve airway tone, but she's smart and does those mainstream tests and treatments properly. She also tries less burdensome approaches before sticking you on CPAP unless you're a very severe case. Not warm and fuzzy, but responsible, knowledgeable, and interested in making things better for the patient."

"Dr. Wagner has been my sleep specialist for a few years. I have always found her to be kind, well-informed about my sleep issues, and willing to discuss possible remedies. She also has shown an interest in me as a person. There is usually a long wait for an appointment, but it is worth it to get good medical care for my sleep issues."
