"poor customer service on the phone, tellers do not listen and just assume what you want. was transferred and given numbers to other customer services when they should of been able to answer my question and should know the answers. On top of that, I had to go as far as emailing the person who was in charge of a claim for me because no one knew the answers and then to find out that the form wasn’t properly sent out. Sometimes this place seems like they don’t care that they are handling peoples money and don’t WANT to help you out."

"It's disappointing that our banking institution is absolutely no help. We tried contacting them about a loan, and were rudely told to apply online. We did, and still never heard back from the Los Lunas or Belen branches. We have tried to contact them about other things regarding our finances and account, and again, they are absolutely no help. We have been banking with them for over 15 years, and I think it's time we moved on. The only number that is somewhat helpful is the main office branch, so I recommend you call them before the others."

"As members of 12 years, we were very pleased and happy to bank at State Employee Credit Union. This last year 2022 has been the worst I have every dealt with this Credit Union. Very Rude to their out of town customers. We would NOT RECOMMENDED this Credit Union to anyone as we did when we 1st became member!!"

"Employee state credit union is the worst bank to deal with I just closed my after 6 months I had two disbutes which these merchants took out my money and I couldn’t go to one concert because I was in hospital the other one turbo tax took out money and my Irs forums were rejected but they still took my money . could not resolve any of them they said they weren’t fraud . So anyways they want you to go through a whole process to dispute something I already tried with the company that’s why I went to the bank . So long story short I closed my account."

"There is 1 assigned person to handle new accounts. If you call and leave a message, that person never calls you back. At least, that was my experience.I had to physically go in and was told by a female teller that that person was at lunch. She asked of I wanted to leave a message?I replied, no, as she does not return calls even after mulriplemessages. I spoke to the branch manager and she was very knowledgeable and polite.However, there was no real sense of urgency on the part of the staff there. Almost like, they are in slow motion in another time period."
