"I have purchased appliances for a lot of homes and commercial buildings I've owned and sold over the years through a lot of different suppliers. This is my first time buying through National Restaurant Supply. It was a bad experience from day one. The ice machine I ordered was delivered two weeks past the delivery date and was badly damaged. I notified the sales rep of the damage as soon as I opened the appliance and sent pictures of the damage. They took three days to get back to me and stated the ice machine won't be replaced or refunded as it was inspected by three of their associates. They stated they had video proof of this inspection by three of their associates, however this turned out to be false. They did not have any proof of any inspection of the unit and claim I took to long to try to return the unit. I can easily buy another ice machine from another company and move on, but the principal is the issue. I didn't drop or damage this unit. I sent pictures of the unit as soon as it was opened at my lake house. There is no customer service being provided to me or any accountability of any part. Public interest must be protected and this company could care less about service or their customers. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against this company."
"I shopped here for over 20 years but never again. Wouldn't take a measly $14 exchange after spending thousands over the years. I get better prices online but have always tried to buy local. I have also never had an issue with returns online either. It's nickle & diming boomer bs like this that is killing local businesses and for good reason."
"The last few times I have been in this place the people are very rude and lack service. I was needing help finding an item. The guy told me to wait he was working on something. When I was checking out he answers the phone and has a conversation with a lady about 20 feet away in the office. I waited 5 minutes for him to finish his call. No apology - I’m so sorry you had to wait. Absolutely amazed by the lack of service. Standard Restaurant Supply is definitely top notch compared to this place."
