"I wish I knew that this Community store is really just for filling special prescriptions (like insulin for diabetes). No OTC stuff. I was happy to notice it initially as the regular Walgreens at Central and San Mateo (Albuquerque, NM) has been CLOSED down leaving this area in the SE without. Really was a shock to have both Walgreens AND the nearby Walmart discontinued - due to excessive shoplifting according to several employees. A BIG LOSS for this community."

"I just had a random guy at Walgreens make a real ‘life or death’ decision for me that nearly cost me my life. I’m still fighting this - so pray for me. I had a wound that wouldn’t heal and I know why. While waiting for that treatment, this new prescription would carry me through safely. Regenex- It is a leading topical gel with platelets in it to protect the wound and promote healing. It is also very, very expensive. It was so expensive this guy at Walgreens thought I should not have it; that I would not want it. He doesn’t know my situation, my HSA account balances or that I am covered at 100% having met my plan total out of pocket. He just decided. For two weeks I, my doctors staff, and finally the insurance company, tried to get this filled. Finally the insurance company walked him through the input process and, when I called, he was literally mansplaining about the prices. I was livid. Sepsis is now one of the top three killers in most states. Sepsis is a common bacterial infection that spreads. On the day this fool finally relented I was rushed to the ER with complications from a swollen, infected lymph node and severe cellulitis. It has been the most excruciatingly painful week of my life and I still can not walk. I can not walk… All because this guy I do not even know decided I couldn’t have the medicine prescribed to prevent exactly this situation. I have the absolute best coverage possible and the best ancillary coverage available. I almost lost this round this week. Haven’t we had enough of other people interjecting their opinions in our personal health? You would be amazed at what is available and coming on the horizon. Would you like to have access to that? #M4A to end this nightmare for everyone. I did end up in the hospital for two weeks and another ten days in a rehabilitation center. Thanks random guy. Fortunately I survived."

"This is the only Walgreens I have ever had a good experience with. Staff is beyond helpful with filling RX! They even ship my dexcom to my home since I don't live in the city! I can't say how grateful I am for all their help. Diabetes sucks, but people like this help ease some of the stress! Thank you"

"The pharmacy staff member that answers the incoming calls (I think her name is Michelle) is always so helpful and kind. Very patient with odd questions and friendly. With life as crazy as it is right now, kindness goes a long way. Thank you."

"This is a very private experience nothing like the Walgreens typical experience there is a doorbell on the door you are not able to enter unless you're buzzed in it is a very private and the providers are incredibly intelligent and take good care of their customers I look forward to doing more business with these folks"
