"AWESOME service from Routes! Very much appreciate the online reservation, so we did not have to worry about having bikes. And the process was very user-friendly...book in advance and save time for more riding. We had a great loop around Albuquerque, which, to our pleasant surprise, had a very extensive system of bike paths. Our route was 50% path and 50% bike lane...and we rode past Walter White's house! Ebikes were perfect for our loop, given some climbing mid way through. Very fun day in Albuquerque (and saw a LOT) thanks to Routes!"
"Did the "Biking Bad" tour while making the pilgrimage to ABQ as a Breaking Bad fan, and as part of a larger trip. The shop was easy to get ahold of over the phone, and they were able to accommodate us on a day where they usually do not hold the Biking Bad tour. Friendly over the phone, and even more welcoming in person. Heidi was our tour guide, and she was warm, upbeat, and so very kind!! She was personable and really made the experience that much better. Highly recommend the bike tour not only as a fan of the show, but better yet, it was the perfect way to see, feel, experience ABQ during our short stop into the city. Heidi gave us so much insight on not just the show, but also the city itself and its history. Many stops, plenty of familiar sites, and accompanied by video snippets on Heidi's laptop to jog your memory, just in case. My friend and I could not stop talking afterwards about how much she enhanced our entire experience. I could not imagine how much better a tour guide could have possibly been for 2 fans of Breaking Bad-- especially knowing that she and the shop accommodated our requested date on just a week's notice. So happy it worked out this way instead of our original plan of taking the RV tour, or even a self-guided tour. Really felt like we experienced ABQ in a one-of-a-kind way. Truly memorable. Thank you Heidi!!!!"
"The people at routes are wonderful! Great business, great service. Lots of bikes to choose from. Well tuned bikes. They provided us with a bicycle centric map of Albuquerque and then took the time to write in specific places of interest. I totally encourage your support of this family owned business and enjoy New Mexico via bicycle."
"In early May we rented 2 bikes for 3 days visiting a my sister and had a super fun time doing rides in and around Albuquerque and through the Bosque which is the cottonwood forest that borders the Rio Grande. This habitat is both unique and diminishing. It's known as “the Bosque,” which means “woods” or “forest” in Spanish. This riparian forests provides an oasis of valuable resources for animals and plants living in an otherwise arid Southwest habitat". On Saturday 5/6/2023 we joined Routes for a 2-hour bike-riding tour of Santa Fe lead by a very knowledgeable & guy named Josh. It was well worth the initial fee. Due to the great service we were most happy to provide a nice tip to show our appreciation Josh his trainee. A. Smith, Mercer Island, Washington. M.M. Smith, Albuquerque, NW"
"Highly recommend the Breaking Bad bike tour. The friendly guide was knowledgable about local history and you don't have to be a Breaking Bad fan to enjoy the tour. We learned a lot about Albuquerque and visited interesting spots like Old Town Farm and various shooting locations from Breaking Bad eg Jesse's house and a murder scene along the river. The bike route next to the river was a lot of fun. Unlike a walking tour, with a bike tour you get to see much more of a city like Albuquerque and it is a great way to learn about a place in a short time. 5 out of 5."
