"Dr. Sparks listened carefully to my concerns, explained things well, and was generally friendly. I had warned him that it was difficult to find a vein, and he showed me a special tool he uses to make it easier, and reassured me he'd be able to do it. When it came time to do the extraction, he gave up after only two tries of placing the IV and sent me home. Very frustrating. I suspect he is great if you have easy-to-find veins, but if you are like me and have ever had a nurse struggle to find a vein, GO ELSEWHERE."
