"I’m a current renter at one of their properties and have had nothing but a positive experience. For all those upset about getting the run around, just follow their instructions. For me, I applied online a Friday, got a phone response on a Monday, followed by a message with photos of the actual apartment. We scheduled a showing, and I was given a few days to secure the funding. Once I had my deposit ready, and my income verified, I signed a lease and then was given keys to my new apartment the day I moved in. I couldn’t be happier with Loni, the property manager. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to meet with her. She is the reason I have my own apartment, which is extremely affordable. She also has a lot of insightful information. Without Loni and Hills Props, I’d be stuck in an overpriced place dealing with roommates."
"I was trying to see an apartment that was "available" for over a month. Each time I asked I was told I needed to wait until next week to see it. I was told they would "keep me posted". By the end of the month I was told the apartment was already leased."
"They do not schedule appointments to view properties. They do not have photos of their properties. When you ask for photos of their properties, they get offended. They do not accept Section 8. They take extremely long to respond to messages, calls, or social media. Don't bother with them. Honestly, it might be a scam. I'm not even sure they own the properties they're trying to rent."
"This company is terrible there building on Saint Joseph street is horrible to live in, there are holes in all the walls including holes leading to other apartments the ceiling is falling down in multiple spots causing water damage to belongings and dripping mortar and brick dust over everything. The exterior stairs to the building are extremely dangerous and are broken in multiple spots. When moving in they tell you it will be “professionally”cleaned and it is not proven by the inches of grease and food still in and on the stove, however they expect you to have it professionally cleaned when you move out. The windows are loose and do not open and close properly. You cannot receive packages because there is know way for package delivery services to enter the building. And on top of all of this the rent is extremely high."
