"We we're traveling west and couldn't see spending the high dollars elsewhere when we found this gem. Small cottages, but perfect for what we needed. Great AC and excellent water pressure in the shower combined with an impeccably clean room that I expect from large chain hotels. My personal favorite aspect was the genuinely warm welcome from John and Jennifer. I only wish our trip afforded us more time there. I highly recommend anyone to stay here. "Dont book here. The customer service is horrible. The man in the office waited until after he swiped our credit card to tell us that he did not want us to stay on the property because my sister was in a wheelchair. W e asked fir our money back and he refused because he said there is a 72 cancellation policy. So then I questioned how are we canceling when you are refusing to allow us to stay here because she is in a wheelchair. He then proceed to call the police on us."
"John and Jennifer were the owners with the best attitude. We felt like they were our friends as they directed us around Rapid City, food, and attractions with ease. Our cottage was spotless and our needs were met with a smile and quickly. Would definitely go back."
"Was a lovely place to stay. All the other hotels were booked in the area and my mom and I found this one still open and I'm so glad we did! This modest little cabin was perfect for us. It had everything from a little stove to a sink to wash dishes. The bathroom was a little on the smaller side though but that is the only slight downside to this wonderful place!"
"This place is terrible. The cottages smell like damp & it looks like they do the bare minimum in terms of maintenance. The furnishings are Goodwill rejects. The owners are also weirdly controlling about the number of people in each cottage. My parents and sister were visiting from out of town and I came with them to check in. The owner grilled my mom about why she had said three people when there were four. She explained that I lived here and just came to visit after which the owner again reiterated that the cabin, with two double beds, only slept three. Very odd. I had high hopes because it looks like it would be a cute kitschy place from the road. Nope. Just a dump."
