Chris' Campground

"For anyone visiting the Black Hills, Chris' Campground is the place to stay. #1 she is hands the best host ever. She is very knowledgeable about the BlackHills. They're super accommodating. The check in area has pretty much anything you need! The pool, showers, and grounds are very well kept up. They have a petting/feeding area for animals that is just too cute for kids. Is it easy to EVERYTHING? The BlackHills is a very large area, so you plan accordingly. We'll, Lanna has you covered! Myself, my husband and mother-in-law really appreciated her knowledge, her kindness and and wonderful personality! Thank you Lanna"

"Lannan and Bryce are wonderful hosts. This place is in the perfect location to go see Devils Tower for the day, the drop down south to Mt. Rushmore. They include a beautiful brochure when you check in that directs you too the toys if all the surrounding sites to visit. Spearfish is an quaint little town and a sought I've after destination. But the greatest part of my stay here has been the owners and their welcoming attitude."

"Can not say enough good things about this campground! Very nice RV sites, two swimming pools that are crystal clear and maintained, bathrooms/showers are spotless, grounds cut and well maintained, nice shaded spots, spotless pavilions with great playgrounds and a petting zoo with farm animals that your kids (and your spouse like mine) can feed and pet. The staff is very professional! All the way from the housekeeper (who keeps treats on hand for her "puppy friends" all the way to the owners! Special kudos to the gentleman (didn't get his name) who was very patient with us as we tried to back our travel trailer onto the spot. This is our second trip to Chris's campground and we are all ready to book another visit this fall. 5 stars is not enough rating for this team! Thanks to each and everyone of you that made sure our stay very enjoyable!!"

"The views from this campground were awesome, mountains and farmland. The staff was terrific. Sites a little narrow but overall level and the length of our site was perfect. 2 pools open late, though we didn't get to use them due to weather. I would stay again when we're in the area. Note- they don't take credit/debit cards."

"We stayed for 5 days while traveling for over a month and this was by far the best RV park. Lanna was so friendly and accommodating, you felt like you've known her your whole life. The entire staff goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I was able to bottle feed the animals in the petting zoo at feeding time. Location was perfect for exploring. We will definitely come back and stay here again."
