"ZERO stars! He left me with drooping eyelids after a surgery to fix drooping eyelids, (worse now). Before he did the surgery, he told me excess skin would develop to the point it would affect my peripheral vision such that an insurance paid eye lift would fly, because it did for most patients. He told me to make an appointment 3 months after the surgery, which I did. All of a sudden at this appointment, he says I have a facial nerve problem and don't meet the criteria for an eye lift. He says to go see a neurologist, which I did, and there is no facial nerve issue. Actually, a different surgery other than the one Berbos did would probably have fixed the problem, and the other surgery he did do may have made one condition worse. Then he calls my primary care doc well after I'm 'dismissed' and states he can't treat me anymore due to other reasons and earlier, had also wanted her to put in a referral for neurology which seemed confusing to her. He also tried to talk to the neurologist before I saw the neurologist, though the neurologist said he didn't speak with him because he wants to hear what a patient has to say first. The neurologist got a 5 star. I would NOT ever see Berbos again. His tone of voice alone, along with other negative things which happened during the last visit and how he handled my eye situation are enough to make me wonder about this guy. His visits with me were very short and rushed as well. I have concerns about one of the other docs I saw as well. And when you write a complaint, and I didn't make that decision lightly, you talk to (according to Linked In), the CFO who does poor damage control and seemed bored and made some shoddy excuses for Berbos and the other docs. Retired nurse says no way am I going back there, especially after getting a copy of all my records and seeing things that just made me shake my head."
