"This KOA was the best KOA we've ever stayed in. What made the difference for us was the staff. They went out of their way to provide the best customer service we've experienced at any campground in our travels. The icing on the cake for us was when the gentleman delivered our firewood to us in his pajamas. Having said that, it wasn't for the wonderful attire, it was that he did this with a smile even though we had not arrived back to the campground until well after the office was closed and it was already dark. This KOA is beautiful and has all the amenities that a traveller could ask for. It is located within a half hour drive of so many of the attractions in the area. We'll be back and we're hoping to have the same gracious and friendly staff to greet us again."

"Our 2nd time camping here! Loved it 2 years ago & just as much this time! We splurged for a patio site this time & it did not disappoint. Nice, comfortable sites, clean restrooms & laundry area, well-kept grounds, super friendly & helpful staff (Special thanks to John & Janny, who were amazing!). Beautiful location & positioned perfectly to easily explore so much of what the Black Hills has to offer. Nice to be able to come back to your campsite after a fun day of exploration & be able to relax comfortably outside with a nice fire (some of the KOAs where we stayed on this trip, simply did not have enough room between sites to do that comfortably). We certainly hope to return...love this area & this KOA is one of favorite campgrounds in the US!"

"We had a reservation here and I was impressed with the main buildings and small gift shop. I've been in several KOA campgrounds and it's rated this one among the top. The restrooms were clean and the staff friendly."

"We spent 3 weeks camping on our "Great American Family Adventure:" We traveled through most of the western / Northwestern states. You were one of the campgrounds, our whole family was impressed with. We definitely would recommend and visit again if out in the area. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked, lots were good sized, and staff was friendly and helpful. WiFi worked great where we were, coverage seemed good."

"Great location and the shower rooms were spacious and clean. The grounds were well taken care of. The staff super friendly and helpful. This would have been my first time at a KOA, so first and lasting impression. I'd love to come back and stay for longer."
