"My husband and I had just had a used transmission installed in our vehicle a few days back in Florida. On our second 12-hours long day of driving, we stopped at Sioux Falls for the night. Unfortunately, we heard some worrisome sounds coming from the vehicle upon arriving at the hotel. We were worried the transmission was defective and consequently would not be able to drive the next day to finally be in our city in Canada. Very early the next morning we made a call to Tim, owner of Empire Transmission & Brake. He said to come over and he would check our car. He and his staff spent a good hour test driving the car, checking the transmission (which to our relief was fine) and after another test drive, the problem was identified. He had many other things to do and did not have to take all this time to help us, but still, he was extremely nice and generous with his time. We highly recommend this place for their kindness, understanding and honesty. Thanks to Tim and staff we were able to make it safely and with great relief back home!"
