"RPM medical billing is awful. They used to be the medical billing company for Pure Dermatology, and while my doctor was in-network for me, they refused to bill my insurance with my doctor's NPI number and would only bill under the facility's NPI. After my claim came back as out-of-network, I spent numerous hours on the phone with them, my insurance, they spent time on the phone with each other, and we came to a resolution that they would bill under the doctor's NPI. I thought all was resolved, until a YEAR AND A HALF LATER, I started getting bills from Pure Derm telling me I owed over money to them. Another call to my insurance revealed that RPM once again billed my insurance with the facility NPI, and not my doctor's NPI. I left many, many voicemails to RPM, and no one EVER got back to me. Extremely shady business, I wouldn't trust any medical facility that utilizes them for billing."
