"**Avoid if you are neurodivergent and seek expertise based on science** This is the most lackluster counseling experience I've had in my many decades of working with therapists and counselors. The therapist has a tendency to continuously state, explicitly, that she is a "very good therapist" which comes off as a need for self validation. Although it's clear she's had training, her repertoire of techniques is quite limited. This is most noticeable with her antiquated approach to mental health perhaps due to not keeping up with newer studies and research. She also places a high focus on "the soul" which may work for most but leans towards pseudoscience and pithy phrases that don't lead to actionable techniques or mechanism to address and moderate thought patterns. The therapist also has a lack of experience dealing with neurodivergent individuals as she displays an uncaring and crass demeanor with a strong antiquated bias towards neurotypical behavior. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a true expert or formal mechanisms for self improvement. However, if you're looking to pay someone thousands of dollars to simply vent, then she may be ideal for you."

"Carolyn has been amazing. I went to her for couples counseling, and although things were not salvageable for us, I have continued to see her. Her advice and encouragement, coupled with her honest truth has been a breath of fresh air. In the dark times when I felt I just needed to talk to someone, she has been the best. I had actually been seeing another counselor but opted to stay with Carolyn. I would strongly encourage you to reach out to her and go to her with any of your needs. I can't thank her enough for all she has helped me through."

"I’ve seen many therapists throughout my life, and Carolyn is by far the best. After my first session with her, I noticed a tremendous shift in my life that only continues to improve! I cannot thank her enough."
