"They recently stopped doing pour overs because they were too time intensive. This really disappoints me because I think they are a fixture of craft coffee and how I judge the quality of a roast outside of an espresso shot. They had some great pour overs before the switch. From their own team 3/17: Response from the owner (in case they try to delete it) Thanks for the positive review Christopher. Your comments are very fair and make so much sense. You must have a lot of formal coffee training to be able to judge shops the way you do. A pour over deff means the roasting is high quality. Keep doing what you do and we will too. Update 3/17: The owners of this place are sarcastic jerks that go for ad hominem attacks when they reply to anything but positive feedback. I never said a pour over equals high quality. I said it was how I like to judge and enjoy a roast. Furthermore, your attacks on me are down right mean and elitist, positing that I can't even appreciate a cup of coffee without formal training. I have the right to enjoy coffee any way I choose. I hope you all go out of business treating people the way you do."

"Diggin this spot located on the very south end of the Santa Fe artwalk circuit. Neighborhood is warehouse-industrial and they’ve done a good job incorporating that into the cafe where they make the most of the space with tiered seating/working options. Local art is alive and well with pieces hung on every wall. Brewed coffee was quality light roast and the baristas upheld the shop vibe without being too serious about it."

"Not a happening location on Santa Fe, but parking was easy on the street. Once inside, interior is a nice place to hang out. I had a latte, which was good. They have the ability to roast on site. Coffee lovers may want to check it out."

"Superb. We are always combing Google Maps for craft coffee when we’re traveling and MiddleState was our favourite in the area. Coffee quality and preparation was excellent. We enjoyed the single origin espresso, a drip coffee and iced vanilla latte. Classy espresso setup and serving ware was delightful. The ambience was perfectly quirky and creative. Lots of cute, comfortable seating inside. Service was kind even after a busy morning. We also enjoyed the plain and everything croissant from a local bakery. Hope to return soon!!"

"I enjoyed a flavorful, exquisite mocha with latte art, friendly service, and inviting ambiance. I’m pretty picky about my coffee, and this was really well done. Much thought went into making the taste superb. MiddleState Coffee is right by the Art District in Denver. And considering I’m an artist and a patron of the arts, that’s a really good thing. There’s parking along the side street. Complimentary wi-fi is provided. I plan on going back. Visit MiddleState Coffee!"
